Little America

As a result of the industrial revolutions that took place in Europe, the Ottoman Empire, which understood the era and the developments but collapsed because it could not fully grasp them, continues its life as the Modern Turkish State and as a democratic republic independent of the dynasty. 

Learning from the mistakes of the Ottoman Empire and in order not to experience a new catastrophe, it closely follows the world industry.

Being close to the European continent and having close relations with the Germans dating back to the Ottoman era play a decisive role in its life as both an advantage and a disadvantage.

However, the heavy defeat suffered after the Second World War hit the Germans hard.

And consequently, its makeshift partner as well.

Turkey also turned its direction toward America, the victor of the war.

With the effect of the Cold War, the Turkish army entered into a symbiotic relationship with America within the framework of NATO.

Following September 12, the jargon of “Little America” entered the literature.

From education to agriculture, from industry to social life, America's partner ten thousand kilometers away and its guard on the Soviet Russian border began to dream of enrichment.

And it did enrich.

Looking at the economic and social figures, this guard duty did not fail to open the door to prosperity.

Yields increased with the tractors and fertilizers that arrived for agriculture.

Grain and livestock production eliminated the nutrition problem.

The new generation of children became more robust.

They became sturdy.

They developed muscle structures similar to American children.

It is not as if American guardianship did not have other contributions.

Smartphones are everywhere.
