When these are added to sculpture, which has already been a highly controversial field of art for hundreds of years, our country is deprived of the art of sculpture, which cities all over the world benefit from for many reasons.

Yet, there are cities in the world that generate significant tourism revenue through sculptures. I can cite New York's 'Statue of Liberty', Rio de Janeiro's 'Christ the Redeemer' statue, and the 'Manneken Pis' statue in Brussels as examples. These cities use sculptures effectively to attract the attention of tourists. In this way, tourists visit these cities and discover other attractions of the city alongside these sculptures.

Although not very common, there are places in our country that carry this out within a plan. I can cite the Kuşadası Municipality, which has been putting intense effort into urban aesthetics in recent years, as an example of this. Despite many criticisms and attempts at obstruction, importance is given to sculpture within the scope of efforts to improve the city image and renew it with art support, and sculptures made of materials such as bronze and marble are brought to Kuşadası in cooperation with art foundations. Sculpture symposiums and workshops are held. These efforts are a quest to bring a sculpture of the style I exemplified above to Kuşadası, which is a tourism city.

These efforts are important endeavors for those of us who desire our cities to be more livable places.

In conclusion, the relationship between urban aesthetics and art is complex and important. Municipalities, non-governmental organizations, and artists should evaluate the city's spaces with their positive or negative aspects and try to give these spaces a new identity. Urban aesthetics not only change the face of a city but also shape the spirit of the people living there. Cities inhabited by aesthetically educated people are important for the future of our country.
