This is how America sold out the PKK!...

The government and its media are claiming that the US has accepted Turkey's demands, that the possibility of an “autonomous” region in northeastern Syria has been eliminated, and that it has therefore sold out the YPG/SDF. Meanwhile, it is being emphasized that the Barzanis have played the biggest role in the current situation.

Let's start from the first button.

On November 18, the 6th Middle East Peace and Security Forum was held in the Barzanis' city of Duhok.

The terrorist leader in Syria, Mazlum Kobani, who is wanted by Turkey with a red notice, also attended that forum in a suit and tie under the title of “SDF Commander-in-Chief.”

The US was the one who orchestrated the Kobani “surprise,” and Nechirvan Barzani was the one who implemented it.

Kobani did not just attend the forum; in his speech, he called for the “recognition of the Rojava Kurdish administration”... He reiterated that they would not allow a return to central administration in Syria... He also announced that Erbil (meaning the Barzanis) and Sulaymaniyah, meaning the Talabanis, have “supported Rojava for 15 years.”

While Erdoğan's close friend Nechirvan Barzani stated that a centralized system in Syria was not correct, Masoud Barzani, who held a “historic” meeting with Kobani, emphasized the importance of the unity between the SDF and his affiliated ENKS.

Instead of reacting by asking, “What are you doing, how could you invite him?”, Ankara hosted Masoud Barzani in Cizre 10 days later, where he put on a show with his peshmerga forces wearing maroon berets, carrying long-barreled weapons, and sporting “Kurdistan” emblems.

Another “Historic” Moment

What did we see at the 62nd Munich Security Conference, which began in Munich, Germany, the other day?

That US Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Syrian Foreign Minister Shaibani and the suit-and-tie-wearing SDF ringleader Mazlum Kobani and his deputy Ilham Ahmed. Fortunately, there was no SDF rag next to the US and Syrian flags in the meeting hall!..

While the pro-government media presented this disgrace, which should normally have shocked Ankara, with headlines like “Historic photo in Munich. A new beginning for Syria,” it repeated that Mazlum Kobani, whom it labels a “ringleader,” has abandoned his claims of autonomy.

There were others who were happy with this image. For example, colonial governor Tom Barrack declared, “A picture is worth a thousand words - a new beginning.”

Munich Security Conference Chairman Wolfgang Ischinger also emphasized that the participation of Nechirvan Barzani and “SDF commander” Mazlum Kobani was of great importance and was a “historic step.”

We have some questions.

In the program announced by the US Department of State, it was reported that Rubio would meet with Syrian Foreign Minister Shaibani; no other name was included. Since Shaibani could not have made such a fait accompli on his own, the US must have wanted Mazlum Kobani to be in the delegation. In what capacity did Kobani take part in the delegation?

What we know is that Trump delegated the conduct of bilateral relations to Rubio, and Erdoğan to Hakan Fidan. In other words, the relationship between the two ministers is better than excellent. In this case, Rubio must have informed Fidan that he would also meet with Mazlum Kobani. What was the answer given? Or was it not reported at all?!

Another oddity; Hakan Fidan, who attended and gave a speech at last year's conference, did not go to Munich this year. Why, one wonders?

What Happened in Munich?

So, who was the only speaker from Turkey? It was Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek. It was like a joke, because he was supposed to speak at yesterday's panel titled “The Future of Post-Revolution Syria,” which Syrian Foreign Minister Shaibani was also going to attend. That was the program published on the first day of the conference. Our media also announced that Şimşek would speak. Furthermore, it was stated that in addition to Şimşek, Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly National Defense Committee Hulusi Akar and Presidential Chief Advisor for Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç also went to Munich.

But whatever happened, the part of the program regarding that panel was updated yesterday. According to this program, Şimşek was out, and Deputy Foreign Minister Zeki Levent Gümrükçü was in. When the panel started in the evening, what do we see? Gümrükçü was not there either, and the moderator did not even explain why this program change regarding Turkey occurred or why no one attended.

Did they decide to react only after the Mazlum Kobani business was a done deal - or what really happened?!

The Barzani - Graham Alliance

While Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan noted exactly 1 month ago that the US was mediating in Syria, he said, “When they look closely, they also see that the lie produced by the YPG through propaganda for many years does not have much of a factual basis.”

He also spoke as follows about Senator Lindsey Graham, a sidekick of Trump who said in those days that “the US should warn Turkey about the Kurds”:

“There are many senators in the US Senate. We do not determine the relationship between the two countries or regional policies based on the individual statements they make. We look at what the will in the White House says, and we currently have no problems with that issue.”

What did Senator Graham, who in the past saved Pastor Brunson and ensured that sanctions were imposed on Turkey, do? He submitted a bill to the Senate called the “Kurdish Protection Act,” demanding both sanctions on the Syrian administration and the recognition of the SDF.

Finally, while reacting to Fidan's assessment that there is “no immediate threat of war” for Iran, Graham described Turkey as a “so-called regional ally” and accused Fidan of “living in a fantasy world.”

This very Graham was at the Munich Security Conference where Mazlum Kobani attended, and he met with Nechirvan Barzani there along with his accompanying Congressional delegation. It was reported that Graham and Barzani “agreed on the need to protect the rights of Kurds and other components in the current situation and in the future constitution of a unified Syria,” in addition to “preserving the status of the Kurdistan region.”

No “Autonomy,” Only “Self-Administration”

Returning to the meeting US Secretary of State Rubio held with the Syrian delegation including Mazlum Kobani and Ilham Ahmed;

While Syria's UN Representative Ibrahim Olabi described the meeting in Munich, which he stated went quite productively, as a “historic moment,” he sent a message that the matter was not “done” as we were told, saying, “The details will be clarified through dialogue. These are issues that need to be worked on and clarified constantly... Of course, none of these are easy matters,” regarding the 4 brigades planned to be established within the scope of the integration of the YPG/SDF into the Syrian army and the inclusion of “female fighters” in these brigades.

More importantly; what the head of the SDF, Kobani, said. After stating that the topics of “Kurdish rights, military integration, and the fight against ISIS” were discussed in the meeting with US Secretary of State Rubio, and that “the goal is to develop an appropriate integration model between military structures,” in response to the question, “Will Rojava be autonomous or will it remain tied to the central administration?”, he explained that “their goal is for Kurdish regions to govern themselves,” that “Kurdish regions should be organized on the basis of self-administration in administrative, military, and security fields,” and that “the SDF will be in the form of brigades in every Kurdish province; local military structures will be preserved in regions like Derik, Qamishli, Kobani, and Hasakah, and the SDF will become a part of the Syrian army within this framework.”

And he even emphasized that “international contacts like the one in Munich mean a new diplomatic beginning for Rojava.”

Let these be our final questions:

Are those who carry the terrorist leader to international platforms step by step the ones who sold out the YPG/SDF?!

If tomorrow or the next day, when Jolani/Shara or Shaibani comes to Turkey, they include Mazlum Kobani in the delegation, what will you do?!
