If the terrorist son becomes an 'Advisor', what wouldn't the 'Father' get!..

While the US and France, in service to Israel, made the head of the terrorist organization HTS, Colani/Shara, the President of Syria, they also appointed the so-called general Mazlum Kobani/Abdi, who heads the Syrian branch of the PKK, as an advisor to Shara “responsible for Kurdish affairs”.

Ankara was left to rejoice, first saying “Shara is our man” and then “SDG/YPG/PYD has been dissolved”.

What compounded the joy was that the dissolution of the SDG was seen as important in terms of the “terror-free Turkey” process and the “politics of brotherhood” that Erdoğan has built in the region... According to Erdoğan, “the book of terror; the era of weapons and violence must now close”... If these people are given what they want, of course those books will close!..

First, let us recall how the Syrian PKK was established.

When the civil war began, the terrorist leader in Imralı wrote a letter to his branch in Syria saying, “Kurds should form a self-defense force. They should establish an army of 50,000,” and this letter was delivered to its destination...

It was also the terrorist leader who proposed the structure in the form of PYD/YPG. He appointed Salih Müslim to head the PYD and Bahoz Erdal to head the YPG...

While the terrorist leader was orchestrating these affairs from Imralı, what was our state doing?

The state officials conducting the negotiations in those days were telling the terrorist leader that they “allowed him to manage the organization from Imralı,” and even praised him to emphasize his importance in Syria, saying, “Your pictures are still hanging on the walls in the houses there”!..

Were these dialogues, which took place in the “Imralı Notes” belonging to the first resolution process, just a dream?

Nooo, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan himself, at a session in Doha in December 2025, explained the following in response to a question about whether the terrorist leader would play a role in the integration of the SDG into Syria:

“He could play a role. During my time as head of the MIT between 2009-13, I had engagements and meetings with the PKK leadership cadre. We tried to reach a certain point. In fact, we were very close to reaching a common understanding. Actually, we did reach it, but the PKK abandoned this common understanding due to Syria, and one must look at what Öcalan will do in the face of the PKK turning its back on this agreed-upon deal. This is in the past in any case. However, you know that history repeats itself. I think he could play a role, especially in Syria. But does he want to play a role, or will he want to use this as leverage? We do not know.”

What Did We Ask For?

After Colani/Shara was brought to the head of Syria and the US sat Mazlum Kobani down at the table with Shara, what were Ankara's demands regarding the integration or dissolution of the SDG/YPG/PYD? Let us summarize them from the statements of Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

- In the first stage, elements within the YPG/PKK who are not Syrian and have the status of international terrorist fighters should leave the country. (Fidan also announced that an ultimatum was given to the organization via America for this)

- In the second stage, the entire command cadre of the YPG, including those who are Syrian, should leave the country.

- Non-PKK cadres should lay down their arms, return to their normal lives, and continue their lives within a national, egalitarian, and holistic Syria.

- Armed elements should hand over all their means and capabilities to the state.

- Places under YPG occupation should be liberated, and Arabs, Turkmens, and Kurds should return to their own places.

- There cannot be a state within a state, or a city within a city.

- The new administration in Syria should grant Kurds their equal rights.

What Happened?

Now let us look at how the dissolution of the Syrian PKK took place.

- The SDG was placed within the Syrian army in brigades without ever breaking its so-called military structure and by remaining in the regions it effectively controlled. Additionally, a special brigade was formed from SDG members in Afrin...

- The armed women's organization YPJ was attached to the Ministry of Interior as being responsible for internal security in the same regions...

- Ankara, which made the removal of non-Syrian terrorists from Syria a condition, accepted that Syrian citizenship be granted to names who joined the SDG from Turkey, that is, that they remain in Syria. This was presented as, “An important obstacle delaying integration has been removed”...

Are There Special Agreements Between Shara and Kobani?

This picture sufficiently reveals what kind of dissolution or integration this is; but let us clarify it further with what Mazlum Kobani said three days before the agreement in question, in his capacity as the “official and chief negotiator Kurdish party in Damascus.”

Emphasizing that they did not call this “integration” and that they used the expression “joining the Syrian army” instead of “being dissolved,” Kobani explained the following in summary:

- “We decided that our military force would become a part of the Syrian army. However, we will still participate as Kurds; there will be Kurdish commanders, Kurdish soldiers, and we will have Kurdish brigades... Thus, Kurdish youth within the SDG will be able to perform their military service in their own regions, protect their own regions, and at the same time be an official part of the Syrian army... When this process is completed, the Syrian Democratic Forces will not disappear completely; they will change their form and structure... they will be part of the Syrian army under another name, with another organization, and a different military style. SDG commanders will also take their places within the army.”

- “There are some issues we agreed upon with the Syrian government, agreements we made together. There are agreements made and signed between us and the President of Syria. In these agreements, the special status (representation) of the Kurdish region was accepted. In administrative, military, and many other matters... For the first time in Syria, there is a special approach and treatment regarding this region. Also, the final agreement on January 29; although it is not the full equivalent of our expectations, it creates a status for Kurds within the Syrian state... However, a struggle is needed for this agreement to become a constitutional text or to enter the constitution.”

- “There were international parties for these agreements we signed. For example, French President Macron said, ‘I am the political guarantor of this agreement.’ American officials, both the military wing and the representatives of the US President, were present during the process. Even though there is no text signed (by them), they were part of this process and are still following it; they are following the implementation of these agreements. The international party is involved.”

If Even Fidan Is Cautious, Why Was the Ministry of National Defense Happy?

If what Mazlum Kobani said about “international guarantors” is true, they should be the ones most happy, right? That is exactly what happened.

French President Macron, whose country dug tunnels for the terrorist organization, stated that he “appreciated Shara's commitment and Mazlum Kobani's sense of responsibility,” while colonial governor Tom Barrack said, “It is definitely a historic development. Following Trump's Middle East Plan, a step is being taken toward a decisive, common national framework, and a unified Syria is taking shape for everyone.”

We had mentioned that Ankara was also very happy. But let us open a separate heading for the joy of the Ministry of National Defense in particular.

Because the Ministry of National Defense had also wished that “the assignments to be made within the scope of the integration process be carried out on the basis of evaluations to be made by the Syrian authorities with state wisdom and security investigations that will yield positive results,” meaning they wanted “terrorists not to be brought to certain positions.”

But in the very first step, a terrorist whom Turkey was searching for with a red notice and a 20 million lira reward was made Deputy Minister of Defense. Turkey, by removing him from the red list, practically drank a glass of cold water over it!..

While this is the situation, after the so-called integration, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler claimed that “the terrorist organization SDG-YPG has dissolved its so-called autonomous administration and the military and civilian structures attached to it,” and said, “We evaluate this development as an important stage in terms of strengthening Syria's territorial integrity, internal peace, and political unity, ending the existence of terrorist organizations as armed structures, and the regional security dimension of our goal of a terror-free Turkey.”

And this is while even Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, with whom they are conducting the process in Syria together, showed a cautious attitude, saying, “The statement made in Damascus is positive in terms of text, but if it is as stated in practice, it is extremely positive.”

This Is How Fidan Described Kobani

Let us come to the head of the Syrian PKK, Mazlum Kobani.

Foreign Minister Fidan said the following about Kobani about 8 months ago:

“Since the YPG is an extension of the KCK, the issue of this group or that group does not apply much there. That is, there are two people above Mazlum Abdi; one is a political commissar, one is a military commissar... He was appointed by this organization, and this mechanism is always like this. That is, Mazlum to them, they to Qandil... This story continues in this way. Therefore, Mazlum does not have much of a say there, he is a person put in the showcase, but I have never seen him have much influence, like having the final say... He has no data, nor does it coincide with reality itself. He is a message carrier, he has to convey what is told to him to the organization. The organization gives him a perspective, gives him instructions, and he acts with that.”

And this terrorist leader, whom Fidan described as the organization's errand boy, was made an advisor to Shara, and his right-hand man İlham Ahmed was made a member of parliament and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

They were made so, and Turkey, which is still searching for these two names with a red notice, did not even make a peep.

As is known, Mazlum Kobani has another feature; he is known as the spiritual son of the terrorist leader in Imralı.

Indeed, when asked if he wanted to see the terrorist leader before the so-called integration, he said, “Of course, he is a Kurdish leader and lived here for 20 years at one time. I believe that he played an important role in the previous peace process, in the ceasefire and reconciliation stages.”

Following this, Ayşegül Doğan, the spokesperson for the government's resolution partner DEM, called on Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, saying, “Mazlum Abdi and İlham Ahmed should be invited and come to Turkey, and friendly relations should be developed.”

Let us convey a remarkable reaction regarding Mazlum Kobani becoming Shara's advisor. DEM Van deputy Sinan Çiftyürek found this politically “humiliating.”

What we are saying is;

After Bahçeli not only made the terrorist leader a “founding leader” but also demanded status for him;

After it was announced that he would take part in the “disarmament and strategic coordination commission,” one of the four sub-commissions established under the “National Solidarity and Integration Coordination Board” chaired by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, with the PKK law,

And after his “spiritual son” Mazlum Kobani was made an advisor to Shara “responsible for Kurdish affairs” and Turkey accepted this, what more would the father terrorist leader in Imralı not want?!
