In what capacity will Bahçeli go to İmralı?!

Seeing the immense interest MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli has shown toward the DEM Party members—whom he was desperately trying to shut down and ban from politics just a few years ago—we wrote the following on March 5:

"After such intimacy with the DEM members, who are merely acting as messengers, would we be surprised if one day it is announced that Bahçeli is also meeting with the terrorist leader in İmralı, who has been made the sole 'hope' of the process?!"

Bahçeli's cries during the first resolution process, such as, "The AKP is practically struggling to make the Grand National Assembly a counterpart to the PKK and is distorting everything," and "If the projects of a traitor lying in prison today are reaching the halls... the political power that brought the state to this state will be primarily responsible for this...";

Likewise, his roars four years ago, in 2021, following certain statements by the terrorist leaders in Qandil: "Cemil Bayık showing the Parliament as the place for the resolution of the so-called Kurdish issue and the HDP as the counterpart is the revelation of the 'give-and-take' he entered into with the CHP. Everyone must see the gravity of such a situation and the seriousness of the consequences it will bring. As a result, the terrorist organization and ethnic separatists will be put in the same category as our brothers in the region, and a result will emerge where the PKK is their spokesperson and representative," and "A terrorist organization leader is setting the tone for the party founded by the great Atatürk, bringing it into line, and threatening it under the guise of friendship; in return, not a single CHP executive can stand up and say, 'Hey murderer, what are you saying?', they don't even dare to do so." While these are still fresh in our minds, he has begun to defend the parliamentary PKK commission's visit to İmralı more zealously than the DEM members themselves.

34 Days After Sending Erbakan to the Political Graveyard

Following this insistence by Bahçeli, YRP Chairman Fatih Erbakan proposed, "Since Öcalan cannot come to Parliament, then Mr. Bahçeli, who invited him to Parliament, should go to İmralı to be with him."

Oh, how dare you say that?.. Bahçeli's deputy, Semih Yalçın, sent Erbakan to the "political graveyard"!..

34 days after that reaction, what did the Turkish nation hear last Tuesday?

After demanding the formation of a delegation to go to İmralı, Bahçeli challenged everyone: "If the commission established in Parliament cannot make a decision in this framework, if no one approaches this visit, if everyone insists on playing the 'three monkeys' [ignoring the situation]; I will take three of my friends with me, I will not be ashamed or hesitant to go to İmralı with our own means, and I will not refrain from coming face-to-face around a table," he challenged.

Afterward, he had the deputies give him a standing ovation by asking, "Do you give me permission to go to İmralı?" And he interpreted those applauses as the "nation's own decision," isn't that something?

For those who want to learn the nation's "own decision" regarding the terrorist leader, it is recommended that they leave Parliament and go to a football match!..

While the Sèvres-supporters are gathered in Duhok

Before Bahçeli issued his challenge to go to İmralı, he claimed, "We have reached the end of the road. Since the ships have been burned on the shore we have reached, there is no possibility of turning back," and argued that the "integration negotiations of the SDG/YPG in Syria with the central government" were "proceeding on a reasonable path."

Let's see which "end of the road" has been reached.

The main idea of Bahçeli's opening was for not just the PKK, but all components of the separatist terrorist organization to lay down their arms and dissolve themselves. The Syrian PKK played a leading role in this.

When the guys didn't pay any attention, Bahçeli twice, on September 8 and October 7, called on the SDG/YPG from the "founding leadership," asking them to "remind that the February 27 call also covers the organization's branch in Syria and its structure in Europe."

However, before that, his brother Mehmet Öcalan had brought the message from the terrorist leader following his visit to İmralı that "Kurds in Rojava will never lay down their arms," and after the DEM İmralı delegation skillfully denied this, one of the delegation members, Pervin Buldan, announced that the terrorist leader had said, "Syria and Rojava are my red lines," and also that "Mr. Öcalan would not accept an operation to be carried out against Rojava in the first place."

Has anything changed after those two calls by Bahçeli?

No. His nephew and DEM Şanlıurfa deputy Ömer Öcalan, who went to İmralı on October 31, also said that the terrorist leader stated, "The Syrian issue should be solved with Syria. [Turkey] should not interfere too much in their internal affairs. If a relationship is to be developed... rather than Ahmet Şara, the Kurds' officials, politicians, and leaders Mazlum Kobani and Ilham Ahmed can be met with... [If Turkey] has a sensitivity, it needs to be in communication with the SDG officials."

In other words, he proposed that Turkey sit at the table with the SDG/YPG. No one denied these statements by Ömer Öcalan.

Despite this, Bahçeli raised the stakes even higher and issued a challenge that he would go to İmralı himself if necessary. It didn't stop there; he claimed that the "SDG/YPG is proceeding on a reasonable path."

On the day Bahçeli voiced these things, almost all the Sèvres-supporters and "Greater Kurdistan" advocates gathered in Duhok, northern Iraq, under the name "Middle East Peace and Security Forum - MEPS 2025." A day later, the terrorist leader in Syria, Mazlum Kobani, also attended the meeting wearing a suit and tie, emphasized that he wanted to be treated as a counterpart like Şara, and was held in high regard by Erdoğan's friends, the Barzanis!..

Cengiz Çandar, an unchanging actor of the openings who was there and met with Mazlum Kobani and Ilham Ahmed, also declared, "They are waiting for an invitation from Turkey. It might not be surprising to see them in Turkey after a while."

How "reasonably they are proceeding," right?!

Let's say he didn't hear or care about these; at the very least, after the terrorist leader's remark, "I brought Bahçeli to this line," shouldn't one have felt "ashamed" to go to İmralı?

The "I am the State" Situation

The MHP is not the government, but a partner in the People's Alliance. In other words, in Erdoğan's words, "it has no burden on its back"... Its vote share is known, at most 10 percent... But as we can see, it is managing the government... It doesn't stop there; together with the DEM, which is also at most 10 percent, it is ruling the fate of 80 percent of the nation.

It is obvious that the instruction to go to İmralı will also be fulfilled. It will be fulfilled, but what should be said about what is happening?

On the day Bahçeli made that statement, there was a meeting of the PKK commission: A decision was made to "vote on going to İmralı on Friday (today)."

As soon as the decision was made; MHP's Feti Yıldız announced the result of the vote by saying, "We will meet on Friday, and we will go as soon as possible." The next day, he issued the verdict, "The commission will make a decision to go to the island of İmralı."

In short; after the government, the will of the Parliament has also been seized, and the way has been paved for the legitimization of a baby killer, pervert, and psychopath, whom the nation hates from top to bottom, in the eyes of the TBMM!..

We are coming to this point; on July 14, we asked, "The PKK side's 'chief negotiator' is clear; the terrorist leader... Well, who will be the government's 'chief negotiator'?"

It seems there will be no need; but if Bahçeli were to go to İmralı, in what capacity, on behalf of where, or as a representative of whom would he go?!
