The 'Ancient State Wisdom' that grants status to the terrorist leader while getting angry at Greece!..

While the party that founded the Republic was being evicted under a police blockade, officials from the PKK party—which MHP leader Bahçeli had been working tooth and nail to shut down just 3 years ago—were receiving new instructions from the “founding leader” in İmralı.

They announced what they discussed the next day, to the extent that they were permitted.

He explained why he was insistent and in a hurry for the process... He warned that delays in the laws that would ensure the legalization of the PKK would “generate risk”...

Furthermore, regarding what happened at the CHP, after saying, “Is it something that can happen in a democracy to enter the headquarters of a political party by breaking its door with a sledgehammer?” he attributed the events to a “lack of the democratic principle at the foundation of the republic.” In other words, he blamed the republic again!..

BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici, who criticizes the opening process with harsh words at every opportunity but for some reason continues to remain in the People's Alliance, reacted to this latest statement with the words, “This is a new and current example of the insolence of the terrorist organization leader in positioning himself as a structural ‘savior’ and drawing a direction for the state,” and noted the following:

“The stance of our noble nation and our ancient 'state wisdom' against the statement in question is clear: There will be no passage for the savior roles of a traitor who has betrayed the destiny of this country and the efforts of political structures under the tutelage of terror to legitimize this denial.”

The stance of the Turkish Nation is clear, but let us look at how ancient this “state wisdom” really is.

MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli pressed the button to give the terrorist leader the role of “savior.” MHP members and some media outlets called this “state wisdom.” Let us remember what Bahçeli said about the PKK and the terrorist leader until 3-4 years ago. It seems we are not facing such an “ancient” state wisdom after all.

According to the statement made by AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik 10 days ago, the process unfolded as follows:

After Bahçeli made the call to the terrorist leader, Erdoğan gave instructions and turned it into state policy... It has been continuing as “state policy” ever since... With the commission established and the participation of the TBMM (Grand National Assembly of Turkey), the process became strongly sustained... And they were going to continue on their path by updating the roadmap.

Not Terrorists, But “Cadres”

On the day the DEM members went to İmralı, Bitlis Deputy Hüseyin Olan also spoke to the Barzani media, but for some reason, this was later removed. In his statement, Olan claimed, “The government transferred this task to the MIT (National Intelligence Organization). We see this as wrong. The MIT can do its own job, but this is a political process and should be carried out under the leadership of the government,” and added:

“Appropriate laws should be enacted so that nearly 5 thousand political prisoners and fighters in the mountains can return to civilian life. Furthermore, Kurdish identity, language, and existence should be under constitutional guarantee. If the problem is not solved at the root, the PKK will lay down its arms today, but another force will emerge 10 years later.”

Speaking of the MIT, let us go to another speech. MIT President İbrahim Kalın, who gave a conference to trainee officers studying at the National Defense University in those days, while explaining that the process was being carried out as a “state policy,” said, “To date, we have carefully crossed critical thresholds such as the PKK's decision to dissolve and lay down arms, withdraw its cadres in our country, and begin liquidation efforts in northern Iraq.”

After Bahçeli gave the terrorist leader the statuses of “founding leader” and “coordinator of peace and politicization” and used the term “militant” for the terrorists, the MIT President turned the terrorists into “PKK cadres”... Moreover, at the National Defense University and in front of trainee officers!..

How Were Two MIT Officials Saved?

Simultaneous with the announcement of the latest İmralı visit, a statement also came from the PKK leadership, which supposedly dissolved itself and took the name “Apoist movement.”

While they were criticizing what was done to the head of the CHP, they noted the following, as if to say “everyone mourns their own dead at a funeral”:

“While the CHP should have been given a role in the solution of the 100-year-old Kurdish question, this orientation towards the CHP strengthens the thought that there is no understanding of a solution to the Kurdish question.”

In addition, the known demands were repeated, and the government's failure to make the necessary legal arrangements was criticized. On the other hand, while the so-called steps taken by the PKK were listed, it was said that “2 MIT officials were released.”

This was important and interesting. Because while every so-called step, especially the show of burning 30 Kalashnikovs, was presented with great fanfare, such an event was not brought to the agenda.

Moreover; when we look back, we saw that such a thing had happened, but it was reflected in the pro-government media as follows:

According to the article by the government's voice Abdülkadir Selvi on August 4, 2025; “The MIT had signed off on an important operation in great secrecy” and “brought two MIT personnel in the hands of the PKK to Turkey with a secret operation,” and “thus there were no MIT personnel left in the hands of the PKK.” The sad part of the event was that it was revealed that one of the MIT personnel had been martyred.

Selvi's statements regarding the operation and MIT President İbrahim Kalın were also noteworthy:

“Both the martyred official and the one who is alive were brought from Iraq to Turkey with an operation carried out in great secrecy and silence. This operation, carried out quietly, became one of the fruits of the Terror-Free Turkey process... The methods used by MIT President İbrahim Kalın are effective in the operation where two MIT officials, who had been in the hands of the PKK for many years, were retrieved. It is said that İbrahim Kalın sometimes uses hard power and sometimes soft power in the field... The MIT carries out this operation in great secrecy and silence, and without anyone's nose bleeding.”

We Taught Greece a Lesson in “Counter-Terrorism”

While the terrorist leader and his men, who are responsible for the deaths of 40 thousand of our people and were sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment, have been placed on such a pedestal, the following development took place in Greece:

Alexandros Giotopoulos, the leader of the 17 November terrorist organization, who was sentenced to 17 life sentences and 25 years of heavy imprisonment as the instigator of the murder of our Press Attaché Çetin Görgü at our Athens Embassy in 1991, the assassination attempt on the late Chargé d'Affaires Deniz Bölükbaşı, and the murder of Counselor Haluk Sipahioğlu in 1994, was released.

Upon this, our Ministry of Foreign Affairs made the following statement word for word:

“We condemn in the strongest terms the release of Alexandros Giotopoulos on May 21, 2026. The tolerance shown to this treacherous terrorist, who is the instigator of assassinations and attacks targeting our diplomats who represented our country with honor abroad, is a great disrespect to the memory of our martyred diplomats and their families, and is of an unacceptable nature.”

It then called on Greek authorities to “refrain from steps that would hinder the fight against terrorism” and to “fulfill their obligations regarding the punishment of convicted terrorists.”

A very justified reaction from A to Z, a very correct call.

But, if the Greek authorities were to ask, “Did you not start an opening process to allow the murderer of 40 thousand people, who was sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment, to benefit from the ‘right to hope,’ that is, to release him?.. Did you not give him the status of ‘founding leader’ and ‘coordinator of peace and politicization’ and sit at the negotiating table?.. Is the tolerance you show to him and his ‘militants’ not a great disrespect to the memory of your martyrs and their families?” I wonder what the answer of the “ancient state wisdom” would be?!
