Erdoğan, who was sentenced to prison on charges of "inciting the public to hatred and hostility," goes to Pınarhisar Prison, where he is to serve 4 months, accompanied by a large convoy. Before entering, he holds a rally in front of the prison and says the following:

"I am not resentful or angry at my state. My struggle is to eliminate the black stains that make the members of our nation resentful or angry through our state. I want to spend the next 4 months here evaluating the projects we have been working on so far. These projects contain a vision that aims to bring our country and our nation to the standards of the 2000s in economy, health, education, science, local government, sports, human rights, technology, defense, and international relations. Therefore, I want to send a message from here to all our children and youth, from primary school to university. The Turkey of the 2000s will be your bright and beautiful Turkey; but for this, we all need to work very hard. For my part, I promise to work very hard inside. You, too, work hard in your schools. Whatever you want to be, be it; train yourself in a way that will do justice to it. Work very hard to be good engineers, good teachers, good doctors, good administrators, good lawyers, yes, especially good lawyers, I repeat, especially good lawyers."

At the end of the rally, he enters the prison with Ahmet Ergün and Hayati Yazıcı. The heavy iron doors of the prison close behind them.

According to the book titled "R. Tayyip Erdoğan: The Birth of a Leader"; "A woman's scream coming from very far away draws vague arcs over the crowd that is about to disperse and slips inside through the iron bars of the prison. When it reached the room with 'Directorate' written on its door, everyone's hair stood on end."

Hayati Yazıcı says to the Prosecutor standing next to him, "Mr. Prosecutor, did you recognize that voice?" Then, without giving the Prosecutor a chance to say anything, he answers the question he asked himself:

"The scream of Lady Justitia, the iconographic goddess of justice!.. Poor woman! Who knows whose harassment she was subjected to again!.."

24 years have passed since Erdoğan's imprisonment, and 21 years since he came to power. The point reached in the dream of Turkey he voiced in front of the prison is obvious. Far from preserving the 2000s, we have gone back 100 years. Especially in justice, the foundation of the state...

WHAT HARASSMENT THE GODDESS OF JUSTICE HAS ENDURED!

During their term in power, plots were set up against all institutions of the State by the judiciary. They blamed "FETÖ" for the bill...

They openly and blatantly appointed AKP lawyers as judges and prosecutors, saying it was "out of necessity"...

Rumors that "stock markets were established in the judiciary" and "new cult structures and power centers were formed" became rampant. They turned a blind eye...

Those who did not recognize the decisions of the Constitutional Court and the ECHR were promoted, and a new method of "encouraging crime" was practically implemented. Reactions were ignored...

In short, "the iconographic goddess of justice, Lady Justitia, was harassed many times"; but look at the picture Erdoğan painted just 5 days ago at a rally in his hometown of Rize:

"In this country, the coup plotters no longer call the shots, the junta members are no longer heard, and the wheels of the tutelage regime no longer turn. In this country, no one is treated as a stranger in their own homeland anymore... This country now has a state and a government that everyone who feels lonely knows is by their side... Because the Republic of Turkey is no longer the state of single-party fascists or a handful of political and economic elites who see themselves as privileged, but the state of the nation itself. My brothers and sisters, we achieved all these developments by bringing the republic together with the people, the state with the nation, and the country's resources with the public... Each of the democracy and development breakthroughs we have realized in our country over the past 21 years was for these days. Centuries later, our nation feels, sees, and knows that it can once again take its rightful place in the world."

Now let us be silent; let the AKP members speak regarding the decision of the 3rd Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation to effectively abolish the Constitutional Court over the case of Hatay MP Can Atalay.

Hayati Yazıcı, who delivered Erdoğan to Pınarhisar Prison and is now an AKP Deputy Chairman, said, "There are events where, to analyze them, it becomes a problem whether you speak or not. We have experienced an event that should never, ever have happened. It is a pity, a great pity. The powers that constitute the state solve problems. They never produce problems, they cannot produce them. They cannot trip each other up."

While criticizing the Court of Cassation, Şamil Tayyar emphasized the following:

"Such unlawful practices revived by the judiciary remind one of the military tutelage era."

Former Minister of National Education Hüseyin Çelik also commented, "Just when we said the tutelage was lifted, this time we created our own militant judiciary. Good for us."

By God, good for the government!.. And good for the members of the judiciary who, not learning from that heavy "FETÖ" experience before the government, were ready to serve this great collapse!..

IS THERE A CONSTITUTION FOR THERE TO BE A CONSTITUTIONAL COURT?

The abolition of the Constitutional Court by the Court of Cassation is being evaluated as the fulfillment of the demand of Devlet Bahçeli, the leader of the MHP and partner of the People's Alliance, to "close the Constitutional Court."

However, there is something we have forgotten.

Long before Bahçeli, in 2005, the then Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Bülent Arınç, when asked "whether the articles of the Constitution that regulate the fundamental principles of the Republic and cannot even be proposed for amendment are consistent with legal logic," gave the following response:

"The authority of the Constitutional Court is listed in the Constitution. Amen to the articles of the Constitution that cannot even be proposed for amendment; no one is saying anything about that. I am saying something else. Can I abolish this Constitutional Court with a constitutional amendment I will make in Parliament? I can. There is no institution similar to the Constitutional Court in any of the European countries. I am not opening it to discussion, I have no complaints. Today, I can change the number of members, the scope of its duties. I can take away its Supreme Court authority. I can prevent every law from going to the Constitutional Court. I can do anything. I am the Parliament."

And these words of Arınç were counted among the evidence in the closure case filed against the AKP on the grounds that it was "anti-secular."

Let's return to today. Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, while talking about the need for a new constitution at a meeting at the end of September, voiced the following justification:

"Why is a new constitution necessary? The primary reason; those who wrote it, those who had it written, were coup plotters. It was not an elected government, not a legislature. They were not representatives of the nation. They were not legitimate. Once, there is a problem in our constitution in terms of legitimacy."

We have been governed by this Constitution, two-thirds of which has been amended over 40 years. But look; not only the makers, but even the Constitution itself was not "legitimate"!..

We have understood why the Constitution is being trampled upon and why it was effectively abolished as of November 8. Neither the old nor the new Constitution; isn't Palace law enough for us?!

Whether what is happening is a preparation for Turkey's withdrawal from the European Convention on Human Rights, or whether the absence of the first 4 articles in the new Constitution is a move to eliminate an obstacle like the Constitutional Court before reaching the "target"; we will understand soon.

However, let's name it:

The one subjected to this latest harassment is not just "the iconographic goddess of justice, Lady Justitia" or the Constitutional Court, but directly the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Nation.

With the hope that our nation, which stood up against the destruction of Palestine and a nation there, can also protect its own rights and laws!..
