The subject was Erdoğan ensuring that Hamas accepted the peace plan following a phone call from Trump.Following this development, Trump spoke to Axios, an American news site close to intelligence sources,

and said, “Erdoğan he helped a lot. He is a tough guy, but he is my friend and he was wonderful.” he stated.

The most notable aspect regarding the meeting in question AnU.S. official who shared the detail claimed that Trump told Erdoğan, “I have donea lot for you. Now I need you to do this.” allegedly said.

Here is the U.S.Abdülkadir Selvi and Nedim Şener, in theirrespective columns, included that claim by the U.S. official. So, it was true.

Selvi's account was slightly different. Because, while wavering between whether or not to citeForeign Minister Hakan Fidanas a source, he wrote the following:

“The view that Hamas would reject the plannews was coming in. US President Trump called Erdoğan. According to Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Trump, based on their mutual friendship, is requesting that he pay attention to this matter again. Trump said, 'I did a lot for you. Trump's second tLet's look at the actions he has takenduring his term so far.

What did he do forErdoğan?

- At the summit in Egypt where the so-called ceasefire was signed, he also said to Erdoğan, "I like this guy... This gentleman comes from a place called Turkey and has one of the world's most powerful militaries. In fact, his military is even more powerful than what they let us know. Even his army is more ptrio. If you look at the recentconflicts, they were at the forefront of all of them. They won, and when they won, they avoided bragging about it.They don'twant anything, they just want peace. They themselves a tough guy and a friend of mine. Whenever I needed him, he was always by myside. That is why Iwant to thank Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Whenever NATO has an issue with him, they callme and say, 'Could you do us a favor, could you talk to Erdoğan?' And I talk to him, and he neverleaves ushanging. He never does. Truly.truly believeable. For his friendship, I want to thank him.” he said, showering him with compliments... As for these, they are what he did for Tur

- [Protected] Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople from Erdoğan First, he hosted him at the White House, and furthermore, in violation of the Treaty of Lausanne, asthe "ecumenical" title, and listened to Bartholomew'scomplaintsaboutTurkey. The subject must have been conveyed in advance, because Erdoğan, during his meeting with Trump, during the meeting, out of the blue, he said,“Regarding the Halki Seminary, whatever falls to us to do there,we are already ready to do it. On theway back,I will also have the opportunity to discussthe matterwith Mr. Bartholomew.”

After all of this, let us come to the question in the headline; which favors do you think Trump did for Erdoğan or Turkey through these actions of his, and is now askingfor something in return for them exWere you able to figure it out?
