Yesterday, we explained with a Greek map how our country is being besieged from the Aegean.

Now, let us look at our situation in Cyprus, which is called an "unsinkable/stationary aircraft carrier" in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Following the Palestine-Israel war that began on October 7, the pro-government media discovered (!) that Cyprus is also within the scope of "Eretz Yisrael" ("Promised Land") and first brought up the issue of Zionists acquiring property in the TRNC... Subsequently, attention was drawn to the fact that all kinds of imperialist powers are deploying to the Greek Cypriot side and sending bombs, weapons, and ammunition to Israel from the British bases and the ports of Limassol and Larnaca, and that the Greek Cypriot National Guard is conducting exercises with German and French soldiers arriving there; it was emphasized that "the US and UK are up to dark deeds in Cyprus" and that "Cyprus could become a target in future conflicts that may arise in the region."

Of course, Ankara also sees and knows what the media sees. What is being done against these was explained as follows: "All these developments are being closely monitored and recorded..."

While Ankara continues to watch and record the flocking of US-EU forces to Cyprus, a move came from the UN. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres appointed a personal envoy for Cyprus.

Turkey and the TRNC approved this appointment with two conditions. Those conditions were that "the personal envoy be authorized only to investigate whether there is common ground for starting new official negotiations between the two sides on the Island" and that "the term of office not exceed 6 months."

The most optimistic result of this approval was nothing more than the fact that Ankara postponed the decision to recognize the TRNC by at least 6 months!..

WHERE DID THEY BOMB YEMEN FROM?

As is known, one of the places where the Palestine-Israel war has spilled over is Yemen and the Red Sea. When the Houthis in Yemen attacked commercial ships affiliated with Israeli companies in reaction to Israel's attacks in Gaza, the UK and the US bombed Yemen.

Erdoğan and his partner Bahçeli reacted to what is happening in Yemen.

Stating that the UK and the US are using disproportionate force, Erdoğan said, "They are eager to turn the Red Sea into a bloodbath." Bahçeli, on the other hand, said, "Attacking the world's poorest countries and hitting innocent, blameless people with advanced missiles is not only vandalism, but also cowardice and weakness."

What does Cyprus have to do with Yemen? The British planes that hit Yemen also took off from the Greek Cypriot side.

I wonder if there is any need to remind you of our country's official position in Cyprus, which is used in both the Palestine and Yemen attacks? According to the 1960 Treaties, we are a guarantor here along with the UK and Greece. In other words, not even a bird should fly here without Turkey's permission—even if it is the Greek Cypriot side.

But as can be seen, not birds, but rockets are flying!..

So, what was the attitude of Ankara, which should have voiced its guarantor rights on the international platform and opposed the use of the Greek Cypriot side as a death route?

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan called his British counterpart David Cameron to ask for the de-escalation of tension in Yemen and stated that Turkey is ready to fulfill its duty in this regard, and that is all!..

Let us add this. The US also hit Yemen with its Central Command (CENTCOM) forces. Do you know where one of the air bases from which CENTCOM carried out these attacks is located? In Qatar, the "friendly and brotherly" country of the AKP!..

Also, how and where do we know CENTCOM from? From training and equipping the terrorist organization in Syria, from CENTCOM commanders being buddies with the terrorist ringleader Mazlum Kobani there... And from their promise to open the "terroristan" there to the Eastern Mediterranean!..

Now, try to believe the tears shed for Gaza and Yemen!..

THEY ALL PLAYED THE CYPRUS CARD

Let us convey other threat-filled developments regarding Cyprus, apart from it being made the center of wars.

Upon the detention of Antalyaspor's Israeli footballer Sagiv Jehezkel, who showed his goal celebration by making a reference to the Palestine-Israel war during the Trabzonspor match, Israeli Minister Gideon Sa'ar made the following accusations against Turkey:

"Israel should consider complaining to the International Court of Justice about Turkey for the occupation of Northern Cyprus, ethnic cleansing against Greek Cypriots; the occupation of Northern Syria and ethnic cleansing against the Kurds."

A few days later, members of the Hellenic group in the US Congress sent a letter to Biden, asking him to "commemorate the 50th anniversary of Turkey's occupation of Cyprus, extend the lifting of the arms embargo on the Greek Cypriot side beyond 2024, and invite Greek Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides to the White House." In the letter, which emphasized Biden's unwavering support for the reunification of Cyprus, it was also highlighted that the Greek Cypriot side recently "led efforts to establish a humanitarian corridor to Gaza, saving thousands of innocent Americans and other people fleeing Israel in response to Hamas's brutal attack on civilians."

Since the government still has dreams of full membership in the EU; answering a question from a Greek member of the European Parliament on the same days, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that Turkey should normalize its relations with the "Republic of Cyprus," i.e., the Greek Cypriot side, recognize the sovereign rights of all EU member states, and also comply with international law and reduce tension for the stability of the Eastern Mediterranean.

It is not over. Archbishop Georgios of the Greek Cypriot side, who does not hide his hostility towards Turks and pursues the Enosis cause, also spoke about the unification of Cyprus with Greece at a meeting of EOKA members he attended recently, and praised the genocidal Archbishop Makarios. Let us note right here that the Greek Church operates under the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, which is a Turkish institution according to the Treaty of Lausanne, and that Archbishop Georgios was hosted in Istanbul by Patriarch Bartholomew.

THE LARGEST MOSQUE AND COMPLEX IN CYPRUS

As for Ankara and the TRNC; 10 days ago was the 12th anniversary of the death of Rauf Denktaş, the tireless defender of our Cyprus cause and the founder of the TRNC.

While the monumental tomb built for Denktaş could not be finished in 12 years, the largest mosque in Cyprus, whose foundation was laid in 2013, was opened with a ceremony one day before the anniversary of Denktaş's death. Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, who attended the ceremony, said that the mosque would go down in history as the greatest monumental work brought to the island by the Turkish Cypriots.

As you remember, when Erdoğan went to the TRNC 3 years ago, he gave the good news of a new Presidential Complex. Cevdet Yılmaz and his entourage visited the construction site of that Complex after the mosque opening and received information.

Fine, let the mosque be built and the Complex too; but while the siege in Cyprus has accelerated so much, are there not other things that need to be done?

Ensuring the recognition of the TRNC, or if that is not possible, bringing its integration with Turkey to the agenda... Remembering the guarantor status and objecting to the transformation of the Greek Cypriot side into a war base on every platform and waging a legal struggle in the international arena... Such as strengthening security measures in the TRNC.

But what is Ankara busy with right now? In accordance with the orders of the US, the source of every evil regarding our country; realizing Sweden's NATO membership, saying yes to "humiliation" as Bahçeli put it 6 months ago...

We repeat and warn; after Sweden, it will be the turn for concessions in both Cyprus and Montreux, and thus the encirclement of Turkey will be completed!..
