Yes, the terrorist leader is keeping his word!..

MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli is making one opening after another regarding the separatist terrorist organization...

The other day, after explaining that “the arrow has left the bow and is locked onto the sacred target,” he advocated for the commission established in Parliament to go to the feet of the “founding leadership of the PKK,” stating, “To this day, Imralı has kept its word and stood behind its statements.”

In order for us to believe the claim that the terrorist leader is keeping his word, he asked us to pay close attention to the developments following his call on February 27, noting the following:

“Finally, as of September 26, 2025, the departure of a group of PKK members from our country and the announcement that the defunct organization has completely withdrawn have revealed that significant developments have manifested in the goal of a Terror-Free Turkey.”

Let us take what Bahçeli said into account and look at how the terrorist leader, the terrorist organization, and the DEM members have kept their words.

THE SO-CALLED FIRST STEP

Let us move past the expressions in the terrorist leader's February 27 call regarding “the recognition of the Kurdish reality, the denial of identity, the monolithic interpretations of the Republic, a democratic society, and crowning the second century of the Republic with democracy,” and recall the condition he had Sırrı Süreyya Önder read as a footnote for the dissolution of the PKK and the laying down of arms.

He commanded, “In practice, laying down arms and the self-dissolution of the PKK require the recognition of democratic politics and the legal dimension.”

When the government and its partners ignored this, he emphasized the following in a condolence message he sent upon the passing of Sırrı Süreyya Önder:

“On February 27, during our last meeting, he had handwritten the final sentence we added to the call we were going to make, and he wanted to read it personally.”

Just before the sentence in that call by the terrorist leader stating, “all groups must lay down arms and the PKK must dissolve itself,” there was also this expression:

“As every contemporary society and party whose existence has not been forcibly ended would do voluntarily, convene your congress and make a decision for integration with the state and society...”

Since it is a hot topic now, let us convey how Selahattin Demirtaş, who is in Edirne Prison, interpreted these words. Stating that there are “not conditions, but mutual requirements” in the call, and that “the new paradigm has emerged in the form of ‘The Republic of Turkey is also the state of the Kurds’,” Demirtaş noted the following:

“The state must now completely cast aside the monolithic official ideology and open all doors to the Kurds; it must respect the language, culture, and identity of the Kurds, and create the ground for integration on the basis of equal citizenship by placing these under constitutional and legal protection. What I understand from the new paradigm, the will that Erdoğan and Bahçeli stand behind, Özel’s statement that ‘I promise a state to the Kurds,’ and Öcalan’s call is all this... The new Turkish-Kurdish alliance will take shape and develop on this basis, and this new situation will also positively affect the Kurds of Syria, Iraq, and Iran. From now on, no Kurd will be an opponent, enemy, or threat to the state they reside in or to Turkey.”

THE SO-CALLED SECOND STEP

The so-called second step of the terrorist leader and his organization was the announcement at the congress held on May 5-7 that armed actions had been terminated and the organization had been liquidated.

What was in that statement?

Turks were called “genocidal”... The Treaty of Lausanne and the 1924 Constitution were pointed to as the source of the “Kurdish problem”... And the 1921 Constitution, which included “autonomy,” was highlighted...

That was not enough; Murat Karayılan, a member of the so-called executive council of the PKK/KCK, said that “in return for the decision they would take to end the armed struggle, the state must take legal steps.” Karayılan, saying, “This is not an end, but a new beginning,” set the conditions in the first stage as; “ensuring the physical freedom of Öcalan and changing the mentality of denial and annihilation.”

The other terrorist leader, Duran Kalkan, announced that the activities of other structures within the KCK would continue.

THE THIRD SO-CALLED STEP

Let us come to the show of burning weapons in a cauldron by 30 terrorists on July 11.

In the statement made; it was stated that “everything was won by paying heavy prices every day, by fighting tooth and nail,” that “from now on, the struggle for freedom, democracy, and socialism will be carried out through the method of democratic politics and law,” and that “what comes after this will also be a difficult struggle,” and a call was made for “active struggle and global solidarity for the democratic political solution of the Kurdish problem.”

The main actor of the show, Bese Hozat, the co-chair of the so-called executive council of the KCK, listed their demands as follows:

“There is a serious need for legal and constitutional regulations for this historic initiative to reach success; these are necessities... We do not want to be content with our arrival here from the mountains. After so much experience, we want to be the executors and pioneers of democratic politics in Amed, Ankara, and Istanbul... However, it should also be known that these things will not, and should not, be one-sided... We have done our best for the process to conclude successfully. We have shown all sacrifices. Now the ball is in the other side’s court. We are waiting for the steps that need to be taken.”

DEM co-chair Tuncer Bakırhan also commanded, “In the transformation process the world is going through, the nation-state has entered a dead end... Our 3rd way approach offers a democratic alternative that pierces the traditional nation-state model.”

THE FOURTH SO-CALLED STEP

The final so-called step on September 26, which MHP Leader Bahçeli described as a “significant development,” was the announcement that the PKK had withdrawn from Turkey.

In the announcement made with the approval of the terrorist leader and under the name of the “Kurdish freedom movement leadership”; while it was reported that these terrorists would “withdraw to media defense areas,” the following was emphasized once again:

“The legal and political approaches required by the process must be shown without delay... Laws for freedom and democratic integration must be enacted without delay in order to participate in democratic politics.”

DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND AGAIN?

In the last few days, the following has happened:

Zübeyir Aydar, the head of the KCK in Europe, explained what they expect from the state in return for the steps taken as follows:

“Laws and the constitution must change. It is not enough to just say 'Kurds exist.' Kurds must have a place in the law. Kurds must be recognized as a nation of the country in the constitution. All rights of the Kurds must also be recognized. Kurds must be able to receive education in their own language, and Kurdish must attain an official status. Kurds must be able to govern themselves, organize freely, and engage in politics. Whatever it is called, they must be able to elect their own administrators and govern themselves... There is the Iraq example. Everything does not have to be the same, but Kurds exist in the constitution there as well. There are examples of other countries where problems have been solved. We can benefit from these, and we can also live freely, govern ourselves, and live our own language and culture in that country (Turkey).”

Aydar also noted that the KCK continues its existence and that the Syrian PKK laying down arms is not a condition of the process in Turkey.

This is the final message brought by the team that went to Imralı on November 3 and announced by Bahçeli before the group meeting; the terrorist leader commanded the following:

“Advancing the process we are in requires taking history and sociology more seriously. It is important to determine that the Turkish-Kurdish relationship has come to this day as two thousand-year-old pillars. It is necessary to strengthen the togetherness by seeing, understanding, and repairing these pillars... The Kurdish phenomenon must be included in the legality of the Republic in all its dimensions, and a strong transition process must be taken as a basis for this. Transitioning to legality as a holistic phenomenon will solidify the legal foundations of the Democratic Republic. The opportunity for democratic integration, which we are periodically on the threshold of today, is both local and universal. It is of vital importance that everyone acts with a sense of sensitivity, seriousness, and responsibility in this process in order to move to a positive stage.”

As Bahçeli praised, it is clear that “Imralı has kept its word”... Whatever he said on February 27, he is moving forward by expanding upon it; he is making the “recognition of democratic politics and the legal dimension,” that is, the recognition of “Kurdish identity,” a condition!..

WHILE ERDOĞAN AND BAHÇELİ SAY ''DEFUNCT ORGANIZATION''

While its KCK, its SDF in Syria, and its PJAK in Iran remain in place and the PKK is only changing its cover, first Erdoğan said, “defunct terrorist organization,” and then Bahçeli used the expression “defunct organization.”

If, as claimed, the terrorist organization has dissolved itself with all its structures; why did AKP Deputy Chairman and Organization President Ahmet Büyükgümüş warn, “Either they liquidate themselves, burn their weapons, bury them, or there is no other option.”?

Or why did Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan say, “Our wish is this, and our expectation is this; that the organization ends its armed struggle and terrorist activities in Iraq just as it did in Turkey, withdraws from the places it occupies, and similarly withdraws from the places it occupies in Syria; this is extremely important.”?

Aside from these, did Bahçeli himself not say both “defunct organization” and the following the other day?

“We consider the demand of the separatist terrorist organization's elements to join the SDF/YPG with their weapons after the organizational existence of the terrorist organization is abolished, and their demand to form a separate division while integration negotiations with the Syrian central administration continue, as a direct threat to our national security. The PKK continuing its existence by entering another body of murder and evil will contradict the goals of a Terror-Free Turkey and a Terror-Free Region, and will be a contradiction from head to toe.”

After the Cabinet meeting on Monday, Erdoğan stated once again that “nothing can be achieved with terror, violence, weapons, and separatist agendas.”

If nothing could be achieved with terror, and nothing will be achieved, then what are these things being talked about and what we are experiencing?!
