'Hunting season' has opened: But this adventure will burn everyone!

We have been squeezed tight. There is no room left to take a step. Everyone sees it, to a greater or lesser extent: We are tumbling into an abyss.

Is that an exaggeration?

Then how should we interpret this scene?

How are we to understand the panic experienced by those in power, for example, a Turkish nationalist party whose political life is synonymous with hostility toward Kurds suddenly placing Kurdish ethnicity at the center of its agenda?

This means the situation is very dire. They must believe that Turkey's plug is being pulled.

If it were not so, they surely would not have found the solution in opening a “hunting season” amidst cries for a New Ottomanism based on a Turkish-Kurdish-Arab alliance.

The hunting season has opened. This is an operation launched under the pretext of defense. An adventure that will invalidate our borders.

Is it any different in the Europe of Germany than it is in Turkey?

Those who govern Turkey are rushing beyond the country's borders under the pretext of seeking peace at home. Alliances are being formed for new manhunts. Fine. Let's call it “the adventurism of Abdul Hamid III.” Society is officially paralyzed. The crisis is not being addressed as a social one, but is being compressed into ethnic, religious, sectarian, linguistic, and other identities.

But this is by no means the right diagnosis for treatment, because the causes are extremely concrete and, unfortunately, class-based.

The government is shaking violently.

But the “reasonable opposition,” which is prone to identity games, is also shaking violently. The problem lies here. And so does the solution...

Let us draw attention to a parallel.

MILITARIZATION IS IN FULL SWING

The militarization of society, both in Turkey and in the Europe of Germany, is occurring through the militarization of industry. Let's look at ourselves: It is being ingrained in the consciousness of society that the old “tutelage regime” has been replaced by what we might call the Turkish-Islamic Synthesis, or now, openly, an Islamic-Turkish-Kurdish-Arab Synthesis. This is being propagandized as a kind of opportunity for freedom and peace.

It is normal that there is no serious objection to this from the “reasonable opposition.”

But there is not yet a mass reaction to militarism in Europe either. The axis of leaders in London, Paris, Rome, and Berlin, who are trying to convince their societies to wage war against Eurasia's greatest political and economic power, Russia, by claiming “Moscow will attack us!”, seems to be pursuing solutions that complement the adventurism in Turkey. That may be why the Islamists in Ankara think their hands are free.

The explosion in military production will create a Europe where all social gains will be slashed; this is certain. But this reality has not yet dawned on many people. Although a sense of unease is making itself felt in society, these adventurers and a vulgarized anti-Russian sentiment still dominate the scene.

One thing is very clear: The production of “drones” (SİHA) is an open preparation for war. States and societies are preparing for war. The warning that Jean Jaurès shouted at the beginning of the last century, on the eve of 1914, that “Capitalism carries war as the clouds carry rain!” has been completely forgotten. As of today, there is no peace movement in Europe. We will see what happens tomorrow.

We will see, because sooner or later, a reaction will arise in a Europe where all social rights will be pruned.

Where will the 800 billion euro volume of the “Rearm-Europe-Plan” take Europe? The fact that the Volkswagen factory in Osnabrück is switching to arms production, along with its partners, shows that we are on the eve of something very bad.

It is surely clear in Turkey, too, that there are no social rights left, 46 years after the September 12 coup and in the midst of a terrifying, privatized poverty.

It is in these circumstances that a “hunting season” has been opened.

Turkey is going hunting.

The European Union, or the Europe of Germany, is also going hunting.

They will go. They are forced to.

But the hunting ground and the targeted “game” are too large to be handled by the power of states that think they will profit from the hunting season. They are taking on a burden they cannot carry.

Let's say those in power are too shallow, ignorant, and reckless to realize this imbalance.

What about the reasonable oppositions?

They are too.

Then that means space is opening up for an idea of a transcendent social order.

In such a chaotic environment, shouldn't we be explaining an alternative government and a salvation/reconstruction program to the people?

We can start with Turkey: With a salvation program from Republicans who believe that Republican Turkey is not an “anomaly” but a historical progression, and who also believe that the experiences of socialism in the world are milestones and a treasure trove of experience in humanity's effort for historical progress...

That is the only answer to give to those who are eager for a hunting season... Presumably...
