Next is Turkey: The 'democracy bombs' of 'zombie monarchies'

Don't leave your news choices to an algorithm - decide for yourself what you read. Add 12punto to your preferred sources!

It is understood that we will be heading in this direction for a while. Not only on the international and national stage, but our topic at 12punto has also been determined for some time.

These will strike Turkey.

These have to strike Turkey.

However, whether they achieve the result they want depends on us, on the progressives/socialists of Turkey reclaiming their historical settings and carrying out a lasting intellectual cleansing within themselves.

What do we mean?

It is like this: Turkey stands as a major target at the next stop on this road, which we have begun to struggle through and which is paved with bombs. In other words, the US and the EU need to completely break the Turkey-Iran fault line, and we have come to understand that they cannot make concessions on this matter.

Can we find any other response to them shattering what is called international law, never to return?

For two years, we have been producing a weekly podcast called "Friday Sparks" (Cuma Kıvılcımları) on YouTube with our writer-translator colleague Cemil Fuat Hendek. We look at Turkey and the world from within Europe. Hendek has been saying from the beginning here, "They have burned and destroyed all institutions, organizations, and rules that regulate international relations; the UN, etc., will not remain, they will destroy the last remnants as well." All of Cemil Fuat Hendek's assessments and warnings have been confirmed by these recent "president removals," murders, and bombings.

After the latest attempt aimed at the fragmentation of Iran, they will turn to Turkey.

It seems the masters of the world system have approved a final scenario for the region ("Oded Yinon Plan") from the very beginning... That is how we understand it. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, in the last 35 years, from Yugoslavia to Syria, the Lebanonization or Balkanization of the region has been showcased wherever possible. We have been writing for a long time that the final major step of this scenario will be taken by tearing apart Turkey and Iran, the two largest integral states of the region.

We are currently witnessing the final steps of the above scenario. The fragmentation of the Iran-Turkey fault line will be the ultimate success of the imperialist system. If they can manage it...

WOUNDED WILD ANIMALS: THE US AND ITS VASSALS

Just as the liberal agents of Turkey, who are heavily funded by imperial centers, are influential, so too is the expectation that "democracy will come from Europe" among circles that are not very bright but try to pass themselves off as leftists; as is well known. The political classes on the London-Paris-Berlin ("democracy") line, who openly support those bombing Iran, have no objection to this path being taken.

The US and its allies are forced into this path they have entered.

Why?

Unfortunately, the gentleman's latest writings do not make it possible for us to agree with him. But we do not fail to understand/follow his search based on his emphasis on "digital feudalism." We cannot say he is very wrong: Yanis Varoufakis, who briefly dabbled in the Syriza disgrace in the neighbor and immediately withdrew, is in the midst of a search. When we think in our own jargon, we also see: Monopoly capitalism or the main imperialist centers are indeed showing signals of turning into a kind of fragmenting feudal violence and organization. This is a modern and digital feudalism. We can say that. Agreed.

When we look, it is not very difficult to see. We already know that in monopoly capitalism, imperialist centers do not really like large political units that are dependent on them. Those at the center cannot tolerate the "pressure of objection" that comes/will come from the periphery. While transitioning from feudalism to capitalism, just as it overcame feudal fragmentation, they behave in accordance with the pressure to return to it, that is, to that fragmentation. They try to break up large and dependent states, and therefore, except for a few large, "central" imperial units, they try to shrink every region along ethnic-religious-linguistic-cultural, etc., fault lines.

The Iran-Turkey line is exactly such a line...

Then, they have to break this fault line.

They are breaking it.

They are forced to do so.

"ZOMBIE MONARCHISTS" ARE CLOSER TO VICTORY

Local customs, different units of measurement, different legal systems, dynasties, closed languages, cultures, etc., of feudalism were overcome over time by the bourgeois capitalist state; as is well known. But now, a kind of return to the origin process is being experienced through the same units of measurement, very low or "non-existent customs," and the same legal systems (although there is nothing left to call law and system).

Is there a necessity to return to a feudal chaos in monopoly capitalism? We need to think.

There is no socialist bloc anymore. It is inevitable that we will experience the consequences of that.

What does this mean?

It means this: Now, in the final age of imperialism, all dependent and relatively large political units/countries outside the major states at the center ("great powers") need to be fragmented. They absolutely cannot tolerate nation-states with populations of 90 million in the triangle of Eastern Europe, Western Asia, and the "Middle East." They may tolerate Russia and China for now, although they are dealing with them too, but countries like Turkey and Iran must be broken along ethnic, religious, linguistic, and cultural fault lines, and for this, they must be bombed if necessary.

It is essential that they break and shatter these fault lines together with their allies who are trying to cling to the melting energy of the US, which is decreasing day by day. It is the time of small, mafia states. They know that if they cannot do this, the imperialist centers will also become dysfunctional.

Except for the leaders and stewards of the multipolar world, all countries dependent on the imperialist system ("periphery") must shrink. For the "survival" of the system, of course...

Will 10-15 of the 195 states in the world ("those at the center") remain truly large, and will the majority ("those in the dependent periphery") be condemned to smallness?

If we look from here, we can solve many issues.

We said "feudal violence." The oligarchs of "plutocracy," where the richest themselves seize political will, and the business people in managerial positions in the highest income groups of society, attribute a divine justification to themselves as they get richer. Trump acts with this justification he attributes to himself, "together with his vassals in the democratic EU."

We had said "the attack of the zombie monarchies."

We cannot say they will fail. But if we can produce a careful response, especially if we can revive Turkey's progressive/republican vein with socialism, we can also inflict a historical defeat on these monarchists. That is also possible.

Otherwise...

We shall talk...
