They are hitting not just Iran but Turkey too, and the 'Cem Özdemir case'

Everything happening abroad concerns us closely. Let's look from within Turkey: It is not just the bombs dropped on a neighboring country (Iran), the destruction of civilian targets, and the massacres committed without regard for women or children, but also the politics in another "distant neighbor" (Germany) where Turkey has reach, that are occupying the top of Turkey's agenda.  

Both of these countries concern Turkey in the first degree.

Why?

The Iran issue is well-known. A great storm (not just a wind) is being sown by the "masters" of the imperial system, and no one knows what will be reaped: He who sows the wind reaps the whirlwind, but what does he who sows the storm reap? We don't know. No one knows. But it is certain that it will not be wind that is reaped.  

Everyone sees that they are trying to make Turkey a partner in the attack as well.

Will this effort yield results? Will it stick? We cannot know.

But it is slowly becoming clear that Iran is not like Yugoslavia, Libya, Iraq, or Syria.

Although in Europe, the mainstream ("democratic") media—whether pro-government or opposition, from the BBC to ARD/ZDF, which are no different from our A Haber—are in consensus about cutting off Tehran's head. But there are those who do not even calculate the short-term costs to economies, let alone the horrific humanitarian consequences it will lead to, especially regarding migration. Despite the clues in energy...

These "bomb-wielding democrats" see relief in the fragmentation of Iran. We have consistently pointed out here that they are insistent on breaking the Turkey-Iran fault line. One should not look for anything strange in these bomb-advocates basing their actions on the Islamist administration's stance on women and religion. After all, every murder is based on some "reasonable excuses."

This is not very important; what is important is this: If Iran's resistance against this imperial attack cannot be broken, it is known that this could strike at the heart of not only Turkey and its other close neighbors but even a very important distant neighbor for Turkey. Those who did not know are learning step by step now. Looking at energy inputs is enough.  

THE WAR THAT WILL HIT EUROPE

All of Europe's democratic regimes, the cradles of democracy, have given full support to these American military interventions that have buried international law in history. Except for Spain, for now. We see it. Since those on the Paris-Berlin-London-Brussels line "do the opposite of what they say and always say the opposite of what they do," we should consider this normal.

But before even 10 days have passed, the bitter truth is on the stage.  

"Experts in love with the system," who argued that the world economy and especially the European economy would receive very heavy blows if the war continued, have started to take the floor one after another since yesterday. They are warning. NATO and the EU cannot stand behind the decisions of a politician with serious psychological problems like Trump in the face of this danger. Those who do will be purged, and the first signs have already arrived.

One: Trump and the cadres on the same wavelength as him could be purged at any moment.

Two: Politicians who, even if they grumble about Trump's policies, in the final analysis "cannot say boo to the US," could also be purged. For example: Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Macron, and Giorgia Meloni do not have solid backing. Furthermore, even Friedrich Merz, the prime minister of Europe's geoeconomic power and former BlackRock executive, could suddenly find himself out the door. He has already started grumbling.

Why, you ask?

Because war changes everything.

Many things that were not even considered imaginable before the war begins, humanity starts to see as among the most reasonable solutions as the war progresses and nears the finale. Cities and people that are razed to the ground make the explanations that seemed very reasonable at the beginning not even worth throwing in the trash.

The speed of change and transformation of people in a war environment is astonishing.

This is the case not only for Iran and its close neighbors (e.g., Turkey) but also for the US-Israel-EU. The hunters become the hunted and are even hunted down in an instant. Governments fall. Presidents or prime ministers are ousted. When we review what happened after the two world wars, we see it.

We will see.

THE CEM ÖZDEMİR “CASE”

In Germany, the most important foreign connection center for Turkey, developments that would have been considered a fantasy 10-15 years ago are taking place. A politician of Turkish origin, who cares about not appearing too close to Turkey and Turks, but whose knowledge about Turkey is so scarce that it would make the ignorance of the German political class look vast, will serve as minister-president in a state that could be considered the country's manufacturing center: Cem Özdemir.

Özdemir has always been a right-wing politician. He gave the green light to the massacre in Iran from the very first minute and published a statement on his social media account that is shameful: "The death of the current state administration means salvation for the people." He knows no bounds in right-wing politics. We can infer from the photos he gave during election campaigns that he has no objection to militarism.  

It can be said that this ambitious politician has now reached the highest "position" he can attain. Since the Greens have little chance at the federal level from now on, it is not possible for this former federal minister of agriculture to rise to higher offices. Let's just say "difficult." Unless, of course, major upheavals occur and even the Özdemirs are not needed...

It can be argued that in this new position in the state of Baden-Württemberg, which contains a dense population of Turkish origin, Özdemir will fulfill his duties by serving as minister-president not just for 5 years but for a longer period, and will be able to retire to a corner, at peace with himself. He was never a leftist. Yet we know that the elder he is taking over from, Winfried Kretschmann, was one of the "Maoists" of that state in his youth. They are like this.

Does this job always work like this?

We cannot know. For now, we can only say this: War changes everything. Especially if "tactical atomic weapons" start talking...

By the way...

To say that Özdemir is a "militarist in green clothing" is to be ignorant of history. Or it is a liberal leftist shallowness that seeks seriousness in green-social democratic deceptions. The green clothing was always militarist anyway. From its birth, the Greens were an intervention that kept in mind the assessment—constantly reminded by Dr. Fatih Yaşlı—that suits plutocrats and their representatives very well. "They were saying the opposite of what they would do and doing the opposite of what they would say." Let's not exaggerate those who joined its founding in the name of leftism. Looking at it this way, we cannot see a difference between the AKP and its loyal opposition (CHP-DEM) and the Greens' administration or orientation. We already cannot see it.  

No one thinks of defending Iranian capitalism and the "value" it assigns to women, or a religious state. But there is a horrific massacre against the people on the stage, and also a resistance. Can the patriots there who condemn this attack be ignored? It is difficult for secularism and a socialistic perspective not to come to the fore in Iran after the attack is repelled. War is an accelerator.

So, Pandora's box has been opened.

Let this be the summary of the summary: Everything in the near and distant neighbor will also set the fault lines in Turkey in motion. What about Europe's fault lines?
