Traitors and sellouts are everywhere: They are also abundant in democracies

Let us put an end to a cliché: Traitors, sellouts, souls for sale, or whatever you want to call them—they are everywhere, just as they are here.

In this distribution, equality almost reigns: They are everywhere and they represent the majority; they are the captains who steer their own ships. Power is in their hands. Free-market democracy may not create equality in income distribution, but it can create a very equal environment in the distribution of "traitors and souls for sale"...

Therefore, it is useful to "disregard" the slogans thrown around loosely without knowing the outside world, especially Europe, and without even feeling the need to learn. Let us bid farewell to aphorisms tossed out from "thin air," such as "There is no place else with as many traitors as we have!"...

These are not true.

There are people everywhere who are just as bad as ours, and even much worse.

Of course, a way out is also possible. Let us take a cue from that poem by Hölderlin and say: Where there is danger and threat, there is also a savior; if there is evil, there is also good. Well...

Since we left August 30th and the 104th anniversary of the great slap in the face of imperialism behind us the other day, let us speak from that perspective. From Mustafa Kemal Pasha’s introduction in the Nutuk (The Speech):

"I landed in Samsun on the nineteenth day of May in the year 1335 (1919). The situation and the general outlook:

The group to which the Ottoman State belonged had been defeated in the Great War, the Ottoman army had been damaged on all sides, and an armistice with harsh conditions had been signed. During the long years of the Great War, the nation was tired and impoverished. Those who drove the nation and the country into the Great War had fled the country, fearing for their own lives. What is described in this well-known introduction is a collapse and the material of sellout, cowardly, and dishonorable people who were the cause of that collapse. In the collapsing Ottoman Empire, there was such a terrible "presidency" at the helm, and the silent public was being dragged along in front of them. In fact, the founding father of the republic was painting a portrait of humanity in 1927. He was providing an inventory of traitors and men for sale. Good.

Good, and we are in 2026: When we look at the history leading up to the cadres and human material that have shown the "success" of destroying the 1923 Republic but have been unable to bury it, it is seen that we have not suffered from a shortage of traitors and sellout/seller elements. It is evident from the state of the country. We know.

But again: This is not a malice unique to us. It is everywhere and in abundance.

An example from today?

SINCE SELLOUTS AND TRAITORS ARE EVERYWHERE...

Let us also give an example from the "thing" called democracy. From the first "asylum" of those who think they have escaped the pressure in Turkey and landed in European democracy. Daniele Ganser’s observations are quite ruthless...

Ganser, whose works can also be found in Turkish, is a hardworking Swiss researcher and author who has no claims to socialism—and does not even find it very appealing—but who can be said to have found common ground with socialists/communists when he insists on telling "the truth, only the truth." And a speaker. His conferences have been followed with incredible interest for years.

Ganser described Germany’s ruling cadres on his social media account on X yesterday as follows:

"I think the US blew up the Nord Stream pipelines on September 26, 2022. This was clearly illegal and an act of war. According to Verivox’s price analysis, Germany has the most expensive electricity among G20 countries at 35.6 cents per kilowatt-hour. While a kilowatt-hour is 23.3 cents in France, it is 18.3 cents in the US. In Russia, a kilowatt-hour is only 7.63 cents, and in China, it is 6.72 cents. The German economy is suffering from high energy prices. Many companies are going bankrupt. I think Germany should end the economic war it is waging against Russia and normalize German-Russian trade relations. I think the damaged lines of the Nord Stream 1 pipeline and the damaged A line of Nord Stream 2 should be repaired. The remaining intact line of Nord Stream 2, line B, should also be immediately put back into use for gas imports from Russia to Germany. Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said that Russia could technically resume gas supplies to Germany within three months. However, Federal Chancellor Merz does not want to import natural gas from Russia. Merz continues to insist on high energy prices; yet these prices are causing serious damage to Germany."

Germany, which is considered the heart of European manufacturing industry and exerts its weight on the continent like a giant factory in almost every sector from automotive to chemicals, has been able to achieve a GDP growth of at most 0.2-0.3 percent after the "neoeconomic power," the above-mentioned "energy prices," and the ruling cadres who insist on the Ukraine war. And that is only in official data. Because this speed is likely even lower and the economy is shrinking. Giant factories have already started looking for luck outside of Germany.

Who are the ones creating this situation?

In such an environment, there is an election this weekend in an eastern state, Saxony-Anhalt. The "Alternative for Germany" (AfD), a "radical Christian democratic party" where neofascist currents roam, could emerge from the ballot box as the sole power. This could result in the shaking of the Friedrich Merz coalition with the SPD in Berlin, and even its collapse without waiting for the defeat that will be experienced in the state elections to be held in Berlin and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on September 20th. It is possible.

As we said, "sellouts" are everywhere. There are plenty of them in what is called democracy, too.

Only in places where working-class parties that declare they will end labor exploitation—which are egalitarian and liberating—appear, is there a possibility for goodness to take the reins. Something that is not very present right now.

Let us give up now: Saying "The traitors and sellouts we have are nowhere else!" explains nothing.

Let us leave these aside; they are everywhere and they are the majority.

Let us focus on our own surprises.
