Built in 1534 in the Pazar district of Tokat and having managed to remain standing to this day, the Sinanpaşa Mosque has lost its historic appearance at the hands of vandals.
The exterior of the dome of the mosque, which has stood tall for 490 years and whose builder is unknown, was attempted to be repaired with cement.
The damage caused to the exterior surface of the mosque drew the reaction of citizens.
