A cult animated series of an era: Scooby-Doo is returning to screens
Netflix will bring the cult cartoon Scooby-Doo back to the screen in a live-action format. No announcements have been made yet regarding the story or the cast of the series, which will be produced by Warner Bros.
'Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?', the animated series that began in 1969 and followed a group of teenagers solving supernatural mysteries, became one of the most popular cartoons in the world over time through its various versions.
The series became known for characters such as Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Shaggy Rogers, along with their talking Great Dane, Scooby-Doo.
Netflix has planned a series project to bring the iconic cartoon 'Scooby-Doo' back to life in collaboration with Greg Berlanti's production company 'Berlanti Productions' and 'Warner Bros Television'.

The characters created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears will this time be written by Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg, the writers of Cowboy Bebop.
