A new teaser and poster have been released for 'The Acolyte,' which offers a different perspective on the Star Wars universe.

THE ACOLYTE PLOT

The Jedi Order is at the height of its power. Prosperity reigns in the High Republic, but the balance between light and dark is not as clear as it is thought to be.

Osha, a former Padawan, is a low-ranking freighter mechanic. Years after a mysterious and life-changing moment in her past, she becomes the Republic's prime suspect in a series of Jedi murders.

And when she connects all the clues, the only way to catch the real killer will be to revive a dark family secret.

Created by Leslye Headland and starring Amanda Stenberg, Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, Joonas Suotamo, Amy Tsang, and Carrie-Anne Moss, the series will offer a different perspective to Star Wars followers.
