Allegations that the script for the series 'Sandık Kokusu' is stolen: 'Great courage!'

The series 'Sandık Kokusu', starring famous actors Demet Akbağ and Özge Özpirinçci, has premiered on screen.

The allegation that the script of the series, written by Melis Civelek and Zeynep Gür, is stolen has become a trending topic on social media.

'ISN'T IT A PITY FOR THE SCREENWRITER?'

Director and screenwriter Cemal Şan stated, "About 15 years ago, I had it written by İlker Barış and his team, inspired by a film. The name 'Sandık Kokusu' is also original. But for some reason, the series is being filmed with the same name. Neither I nor the screenwriter is aware of this. That's great courage, I must say. I'm used to it, but isn't it a pity for the screenwriter?"
