'Arap Kadri ve Tarzan' release date announced

The release date for 'Arap Kadri ve Tarzan', a film adaptation of the 'Arap Kadri ve Tarzan' comic strips published in Fırt Magazine during the 1970s and 1980s, has been set for April 19.

The film, based on the work written by Tekin Aral and brought to life by the illustrations of Latif Demirci, stars Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, Necip Memili, Zeynep Çamcı, Yalçın Hafızoğlu, Melis İşiten, Birgül Ulusoy, Taner Turan, Cem Zeynel Kılıç, Hira Koyuncuoğlu, Eda Özel, Yaşar Karakulak, Neslihan Yeldan, and Sinan Bengier.

'Arap Kadri ve Tarzan' is produced by PH7, DMC, and NetD.

The film was directed by Emre Kavuk, with a screenplay written by Volkan Öge and Ömer Fikret Şen.

PLOT OF ARAP KADRİ VE TARZAN

Bringing a fresh breath of air to cinema with its unique sense of humor, the film follows the people living in the jungle as they face an unbearable water shortage. 'Tarzan,' who seeks a solution, and 'Arap Kadri,' who does not, find themselves in a leadership conflict. Based on the humorous comic series, the film portrays Arap Kadri as a character who is fond of his freedom and refuses to follow rules.

Tired of city life and preferring to live in the depths of the jungle, this colorful character also opposes the orderly life he encounters. When his daughter, whose existence he was unaware of, arrives in the jungle and asks for her father to be by her side as she takes the first steps toward marriage, our heroes find themselves on the road to Istanbul.
