Award-winning play 'Equus' to be staged on February 3
The play 'Equus', which explores the story of someone held captive by their passions, will meet theater lovers at Maximum Uniq Hall on February 3.
'Equus', the Tony Award-winning masterpiece written by 'Amadeus' author Peter Shaffer and inspired by a true story, which was staged 1,200 times on Broadway, is being brought to the stage under the direction of Barış Erdenk.
The legendary play, starring Kerem Alışık, Emir Özden, Hatice Aslan, Devrim Nas, Açelya Devrim Yılhan, and Gizem Katmer, is being staged as a co-production of Çolpan İlhan & Sadri Alışık Theatre and Piu Entertainment.

It tells the story of 17-year-old Alan Strang (Emir Özden), who is hospitalized due to a horrific incident he committed while held captive by his passions, and the psychiatrist Martin Dysart (Kerem Alışık), who analyzes and tries to heal him.
