Beren Saat takes a break from the screen: 'I won't return until conditions improve'

Beren Saat answered questions from reporters at an event she attended and explained why she has taken a break from television projects. Stating that current episode lengths and working conditions are quite challenging, Saat said, "I am not considering taking part in a project for television until conditions improve."

Noting that her husband, Kenan Doğulu, wants to see her on screen, Saat said, "Kenan says, 'You are in your best years and age, you need to make many series and produce.' He tries to motivate me, but I prioritize projects that will impact the audience."

Beren Saat also shared her thoughts on the 'Bihter' character she played in the series 'Aşk-ı Memnu' being remembered on social media. "There is a social media interaction every year. It is in my heart, just as it is in everyone else's," she stated. Furthermore, regarding the rebroadcast of the series, she said, "It is a very important novel, and it will always be broadcast again and again. If it is adapted into a film again, I would like to watch it."
