The story focuses on Neslihan Turan (Bergüzar Korel), an ambitious news anchor who has built her identity on truth and honesty, as she finds herself in a major test of balancing her career with her responsibilities as a mother. In the series, Serkan Altunorak portrays Vural, Neslihan's husband and an emotional, fragile academic, while Caner Cindoruk takes on the role of Nejat, a successful and reliable commissioner working in the homicide bureau.
The cast also includes İbrahim Selim as the producer of the 'Tek Gerçek' program hosted by Neslihan, Ece Dizdar as a television personality from a rival channel, Itır Esen as Neslihan's assistant, and Kaan Meriç Sezen as Neslihan's son, Can.

In her latest broadcast, while challenging one of the dark figures of the underworld, the sentence "I would show no mercy even if it were my own son!" triggers the most difficult test of her life. When her son Can is accused of killing his friend Lal at a party, Neslihan's life is turned upside down. Learning that a rival channel plans to cover the case on their program, Neslihan takes the file from them and decides to feature it on her own show.
This contentious journey of Neslihan Turhan will test her commitment to her principles of honesty and reliability. She faces a single dilemma: Will she bring her son onto live television?
