‘Black Mirror’ season seven is coming
Netflix’s dystopian series ‘Black Mirror,’ which challenges its audience with almost every episode, has been renewed for a seventh season.
Producer Charlie Brooker’s dark and satirical anthology series returned to screens earlier this year with its sixth season after a four-year hiatus, reaching record viewership numbers on Netflix.
According to Variety, while the cast for the seventh season has not yet been confirmed, it is expected that the series will enter production later this year, with Brooker, Annabel Jones, and Jessica Rhodes returning as executive producers.
Plot details and the number of episodes are also being kept under wraps.
The sixth season, which consisted of five episodes, featured a large number of star actors, including Salma Hayek, Annie Murphy, Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett, and Paapa Essiedu.
The fifth season, which consisted of only three episodes, starred Andrew Scott, Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, and Miley Cyrus.
