British heavy metal band Judas Priest to perform in Istanbul

Considered among the most successful metal bands of all time, Judas Priest will perform at Bonus Park Orman on July 24 as part of their "Invincible Shield Tour Europe," organized by BKM.

The group, whose albums have reached sales figures of over 50 million, has achieved worldwide tours, numerous awards such as the Grammy, and chart success, in addition to being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.

The group also presented their new album, "Invincible Shield," to listeners in March of this year.

WHO IS JUDAS PRIEST?

Judas Priest is a British heavy metal band formed in Birmingham in 1969. The group, whose albums have sold more than 50 million copies, is generally considered among the most successful metal bands of all time. Although the band produced innovative and pioneering work in the second half of the 1970s, they did not achieve commercial success until 1980, when they broke through with the album British Steel.

Judas Priest has undergone many member changes throughout its history. The band's current lineup consists of Rob Halford (vocals), Glenn Tipton (guitar), Richie Faulkner (guitar), Ian Hill (bass), and Scott Travis (drums). Tipton and Hill are the members who have appeared on all of the band's albums.

The group is also referred to as the "metal gods" by their fans, in reference to their song titled Metal Gods.
