British rock band Placebo to perform in Istanbul
British alternative rock band Placebo will take the stage at KüçükÇiftlik Park on August 4 as part of the Blind Festival.
According to the statement regarding the matter, the band will meet with their fans at KüçükÇiftlik Park as part of the 'Blind Festival'.
The group, which released its debut album Placebo in 1996, has released 8 studio albums to date.
All of Placebo's albums have entered the top 20 on the Billboard charts in the UK.
Worldwide, they have reached over 14 million in sales.
WHO IS PLACEBO?
Placebo is an alternative rock band formed in London, the capital of the United Kingdom, in 1994 by Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal.
The group consists of Brian Molko (vocals, guitar) and Stefan Olsdal (bass guitar, piano, backing vocals).
It was announced in an official statement on 01.10.2007 that the group's drummer of 10 years, Steve Hewitt, had left the band due to musical and personal differences.
The group's 3rd drummer, Steve Forrest, left the band by mutual agreement after 8 years (02.02.2015) to pursue a solo career.
