Performing at an event held in Ankara, Bulutsuzluk Özlemi also sang their songs "Baghdad Cafe" and "Fallujah," which they composed during the Iraq War, as well as "No One Mentions Peace."

The band's lead singer, Nejat Yavaşoğulları, stated during the concert: "We wrote a song a long time ago called 'No One Mentions Peace.' We are playing it today for the wars continuing in the world, and especially for the children dying in Gaza."

Following the concert, Nejat Yavaşoğulları, the lead singer of Bulutsuzluk Özlemi—which features Sina Koloğlu on keyboards, Gencay Kıymaz on drums, and Deniz Demiröz on lead guitar—spoke about the event.

'UNFORTUNATELY, THESE WARS ARE BEING PROVOKED'

Stating that war is one of the greatest troubles facing humanity, Yavaşoğulları said:

"Unfortunately, these wars are being provoked. The war in Ukraine was also a very absurd war, and Israel's attack on Gaza, using Hamas's attack as an excuse, is also very absurd. At the same time, Hamas should have considered all of this as well.

I believe they attacked Israel with missiles, as if to show off. But in the end, it was an opportunity they were waiting for, and I am against that too. Israel using its state power to bear down on Gaza, a small place, using this as an excuse, is not something that can be accepted."
