Commemoration night held in memory of Rasim Öztekin, daughter went to a match
Following the death of master Turkish theater artist Rasim Öztekin, a commemoration night was organized by the cast of the TV series Seksenler. However, Öztekin's daughter, Pelin Öztekin, went to the Galatasaray-Çaykur Rizespor match instead of attending the ceremony.
Master Turkish theater artist Rasim Öztekin passed away on March 8, 2021, due to a heart condition. The cast of the Seksenler series, in which the actor last performed, held a commemoration night for Öztekin on March 8.
During the night, where famous names took the stage, eyes searched for Öztekin's daughter, Pelin Öztekin.

In the commemoration night hosted by İlker Ayrık and Özlem Türkad, who starred alongside Öztekin in the Seksenler series, a documentary detailing the master actor's 41-year artistic career was screened.
While all proceeds from the night, held at the IMM City Theaters Beylikdüzü Rasim Öztekin Stage, were donated to the Association for Supporting Contemporary Life Rasim Öztekin Theater Scholarship, Pelin Öztekin's absence from the event drew attention.
Pelin Öztekin went to the Galatasaray-Çaykur Rizespor match instead of the ceremony. Sharing from the stadium, Pelin Öztekin stated, "I am where you loved to be, my Rasim."
