'Common Dream' exhibition at NHKM on the 62nd anniversary of Nâzım Hikmet's death
On the 62nd anniversary of Nâzım Hikmet's death, an exhibition titled "Common Dream" has opened at the Nâzım Hikmet Cultural Center in Kadıköy. The exhibition, which opened on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 19:30, examines the intellectual and artistic partnerships the artist established throughout the Republican era.
The exhibition examines the relationships Nâzım Hikmet established with figures who accompanied his work across a wide spectrum, from theater to literature, and music to painting. Collaborative works carried out with leading figures of the period, such as Muhsin Ertuğrul, Orhan Kemal, Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, and Mesud Cemil, are presented in a way that sheds light on the art-struggle equation of the era.

In a statement made by the NHKM, it was noted that the exhibition was prepared with the slogan "The Call of the Common Dream: Let's Walk!," emphasizing a vision of collective production against today's individualistic and competitive world.

The exhibition will be open for visitors throughout the summer. It offers visitors the opportunity to trace not only the legacy of a poet but also the militant cultural heritage of an entire era.
