Crime drama Parish released in Turkey
TV+ has brought the new crime drama 'Parish,' starring Giancarlo Esposito, the famous actor from 'Breaking Bad' and 'Better Call Saul,' to Turkish audiences at the same time as the US.
The new crime drama 'Parish,' eagerly awaited by fans of the popular series 'Breaking Bad' and 'Better Call Saul,' has premiered in Turkey at the same time as in the US.
The series, which aired its first episode on April 1, stars Giancarlo Esposito, who played the character Gus Fring in 'Breaking Bad' and 'Better Call Saul.'
CONSISTS OF SIX EPISODES
Adapted from the BBC series 'The Driver,' 'Parish' centers on taxi driver Gray Parish, played by five-time Primetime Emmy nominee Giancarlo Esposito. The series consists of six episodes, each lasting 60 minutes.
WHAT IS THE PLOT OF THE SERIES PARISH?
Set in a storm-ravaged New Orleans, the plot of the urban crime thriller Parish is summarized as follows: Gracian 'Gray' Parish (Giancarlo Esposito), a luxury car service owner and driver, is a man drowning in debt, mourning the loss of his son to violence, and trying to find a new purpose in his life.
His journey drags us into a wild and nihilistic life of crime as he works with AT (Zachary Momoh).
On the surface, the series tells the story of a desperate man returning to a life of crime and finding himself entangled in the human trafficking market and on the trail of his son's killer.
However, in the background, Parish explores Gray's internal conflict. He is a talented, cunning, retired thief who gave up his life of crime to become a smuggler and a family man.
He believes that with the right plan, the right allies, and enough cunning, he will have it all by achieving a renewed sense of purpose, the love of his family, and revenge for his son.
Throughout the series, Gray discovers that the only way to live his purpose and keep his family close is to truly drop his mask, which means revealing and embracing the true self he has kept away from his loved ones.
