In November 2011, the 'United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization' officially designated April 30 as International Jazz Day to highlight jazz music and its role in uniting people in every corner of the world.

This special day is also celebrated every year in our country.

Renowned artist Dilek Sert Erdoğan performed the other evening at Nardis, the first jazz club established in Istanbul.

Speaking after the concert, the famous name said the following:

"We celebrated International Jazz Day with an 'A Tribute to Aretha Franklin' concert. As a soul singer, I wanted to honor Aretha Franklin, who has influenced me the most throughout my life.

My dear friend Kaan Bıyıkoglu, who rewrote 12 songs like poetry while remaining faithful to the originals, left us in awe. Being with this team was very special..."
