Emin Barın's 'Neither Bowing from You Nor Standing from Me' exhibition extended until May 31
The exhibition "Emin Barın: 'Neither Bowing from You Nor Standing from Me'," featuring works by the late Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Barın, a master of Turkish graphic art, calligrapher, and bookbinder, has been extended until May 31.
According to a statement from the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), the exhibition, organized by İBB Culture and İBB Heritage, is meeting art enthusiasts at Artİstanbul Feshane.
The exhibition, which features a selection of works by Emin Barın from the Zafer Yıldırım family collection and the Barın Han family archive, has welcomed approximately 80 thousand visitors in two months.
230 WORKS ON DISPLAY
Curated by art historian Ali Kayaalp, the exhibition includes approximately 230 works that reflect Barın's mastery of Turkish graphic art, as well as his expertise in calligraphy and book restoration.
The exhibition can be visited for free every day except Mondays, from 10:00 to 19:30, until May 31.
