Encouraging genre cinema: 14th Sinepark Short Film Festival applications have begun
The Sinepark Short Film Festival, organized by the Galatasaray University Communication Club, has been held since 2007 with the aim of encouraging genre cinema and increasing the visibility of various genres.
Turkey's only concept short film festival features films competing for 17 awards across 7 main categories, which take their names from amusement park rides: Alabora (drama), Korku Tüneli (horror, thriller, science fiction), Çarpışan Aramalar (documentary), Komikaze (comedy and musical), Animasyon Treni (animation), Labirent (experimental), and Atlı Karınca (high school students competition).
The deadline for applications for the 14th Sinepark Short Film Festival, which will be held this May, has been announced as January 26, 2024.
