Troy Museum Director Rıdvan Gölcük told reporters that the award-winning museum from Europe is receiving intense visitor interest every day.

Stating that they have implemented a different project for guests aged 65 and over within this scope, Gölcük provided the following information:

"Museum entry is free for our visitors aged 65 and over. In addition, we have started to offer free guided tours and Homer Garden tours, as well as complimentary beverages for groups of 5 or more people. Why did we start such an initiative? We have an education and organization department, and as is customary in museums, these education departments mostly develop projects in cooperation with children.

However, for the first time in Turkey, our education department has started such an application regarding visitors over the age of 65."

With this project, it is aimed to contribute to both the lifelong learning journeys of visitors aged 65 and over and to help this age group stay away from diseases such as dementia.
