Erol Evgin performed the 100th anniversary anthem at his concert
Master of Turkish pop music Erol Evgin gave a concert last night at the Adana Çukurova University Open Air Theater as part of his summer concert series. In the final part of the concert, Evgin took a Turkish flag in his hand and performed the 100th anniversary anthem.
Taking the stage to the enthusiastic applause of music lovers in Adana while performing his song titled “Söyle Canım”, Erol Evgin sang songs that have left their mark on Turkish pop music throughout the night, accompanied by an Adana choir consisting of four generations.
The artist concluded his concert with the 100th Anniversary Anthem titled “100 Yılda Yüz Akıyla”, which he composed specifically for the 100th anniversary of the Republic.
The audience accompanied Erol Evgin while standing and singing in unison.
