Exciting statement from Ali Atay: I could make a series continuation of Ölümlü Dünya

The film Ölümlü Dünya 2 was one of the most-watched productions of 2023.

Ali Atay, who directed the film and was also part of the screenwriting team, clarified the question of whether a third film would be made.

WILL ÖLÜMLÜ DÜNYA 3 BE FILMED?

Speaking to journalist Birsen Altuntaş's YouTube channel, Atay stated that he does not think there will be a continuation of the film series, saying the following:

"I don't think a third Ölümlü Dünya film will come. I want to do other things now… I think it shouldn't have a sequel. In fact, at the end of the first film, all the characters were dying. We were putting them all through quite a massacre… But even while they were dying, there were very annoying moments… Then we couldn't bring ourselves to do it"

Stating that the film would not continue, Atay signaled that the Ölümlü Dünya project could turn into a series.

Atay said, "For example, I don't like those characters and that story being squeezed into 100 or 110 minutes… I want to tell them all at greater length… I want to tell more of their stories. I could make a series continuation of Ölümlü Dünya"
