Fazıl Say makes 'new concert' statement after Swiss concerts were cancelled
Some of the concerts that famous pianist Fazıl Say was set to perform in Europe were cancelled following his social media posts regarding the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Say has made a new post on his social media account.
Fazıl Say, whose concerts in Switzerland were cancelled, has shared a post about a new concert.
Say stated the following:
“This evening, Vilnius (Lithuania). A ‘Say Plays Say’ night where I perform only my own compositions. My first concert in Lithuania. Within the scope of a ‘Composer Portrait’ at a festival in Vilnius where many of my works are being performed, may sounds turn into hope. Life goes on. Continuing on the path.”
