Ferzan Özpetek: 'I receive advertising offers from pasta and sauce brands'

Turkish director Ferzan Özpetek, who lives in Italy, is on the agenda with his film "Istanbul Trilogy: Meze-Music-Muhabbet."

The screening of the film, which focuses on famous Turkish rakı tables, mezes, and conversations, took place the other day at Atlas 1948.

Özpetek, who generally features crowded tables in his films, stated, "Because I feature tables in my films that everyone wants to be a part of, I receive advertising offers from pasta and sauce brands."

'I RECOGNIZE NOTHING ABOVE TURKISH MEZES'

When asked, "Are Greek mezes or Turkish mezes better?" Özpetek replied, "I recognize nothing above Turkish mezes."
