First images from the film 'A Republic Song' released
The highly anticipated first images of actor Ertan Saban from the film 'A Republic Song', directed by Yağız Alp Akaydın, have been shared on social media.
Depicting Turkey in the 1930s and the young Republic, the film 'A Republic Song', with its strong cast and eagerly awaited story, is scheduled to be released on October 29.
Salih Bademci will portray Ahmet Adnan Saygun, the composer of the first Turkish opera and recipient of the State Artist title; Ahmet Rıfat Şungar will play writer, filmmaker, and sculptor Münir Hayri Egeli; Okan Yalabık will play Zeki Üngör, the composer of the National Anthem; Birce Akalay will play Nimet Vahide Hanım, the first female Turkish opera singer; and Ertan Saban will portray Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
The film's cast also includes Melis Sezen as Saygun's wife Mediha Hanım, Şifanur Gül as the character Nükhet, Mehmet Özgür as the character Süleyman, and Bensu Soral in a surprise role.
