First trailer released for The Watchers, produced by Night Shyamalan

Master of horror Night Shyamalan is preparing to meet his fans with a brand-new horror film.

This time, Night Shyamalan sits in the producer's chair for The Watchers, a film written and directed by his daughter, Ishana Night Shyamalan.

The first trailer released for the film drew attention with its chilling atmosphere.

THE WATCHERS FILM PLOT

Adapted from A.M. Shine's novel, the film follows Mina, a 28-year-old artist who becomes stranded in a vast, untouched forest in western Ireland. After finding a shelter, Mina unknowingly becomes trapped with three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures every night, and the tension-filled moments begin.

The Watchers stars Dakota Fanning ("Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", "Ocean's Eight"), Georgina Campbell ("Barbarian", "Suspicion"), Oliver Finnegan ("Creeped Out", "Outlander"), and Olwen Fouere ("The Northman", "The Tourist"). The film is produced by M. Night Shyamalan, along with Ashwin Rajan and Nimitt Mankad. Executive producers are Jo Homewood and Stephen Dembitzer.

Director of photography Eli Arenson ("Lamb", "Hospitality"), production designer Ferdia Murphy ("Lola", "Finding You"), editor Job ter Burg ("Benedetta", "Elle"), and costume designer Frank Gallacher ("Sebastian", "Aftersun") join writer/director Shyamalan behind the camera. The music is by Abel Korzeniowski ("Till", "The Nun").

'The Watchers', distributed in our country by TME Films, will be in theaters on June 7.
