A 23 April surprise for children from Fişekhane: Kite Festival on 19 April
Fişekhane is preparing to provide a delightful day for children with a Kite Festival it will host on Saturday, 19 April, to celebrate the 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day.
Fişekhane invites everyone to celebrate 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day, the first and only holiday in the world dedicated to children, accompanied by kites.
ACCOMPANIED BY A FAMOUS ARTIST
Within the scope of the event, kite making and painting workshops, a short film screening, a talk, and a kite show will be held with the participation of world-renowned kite artist Zahit Mungan.
The festival will conclude with a kite-flying event to be held on the Fişekhane waterfront. While children release the kites they made themselves into the sky, the display of giant kites will offer a visual feast to the spectators.
