Audience record at Buika & Kibariye's first concert! 2025 tour dates announced

Taking the stage to applause, the powerful voice of Spanish music, BUIKA, opened the concert with hit songs such as “Dolor de Rumba”, “Las Simples Cosas”, “La Falsa Moneda”, and “Yo me lo merezco”. Despite arriving in Istanbul last week, Buika had been suffering from a severe flu infection; she expressed her gratitude for the care she received from Turkish doctors during those difficult days and showered them with praise. The Spanish artist invited the doctor who treated her onto the stage to sing two songs with her, and then, with great enthusiasm, she said in Turkish, "I love you, Istanbul!" before continuing to perform her beloved tracks.

LIVE PERFORMANCE OF 'SEVDAM AĞLIYOR'

Following her solo performance, BUIKA shared her excitement and invited the queen of Turkish Arabesque music, Kibariye, to the stage to the sound of applause. The duo performed “Sevdam Ağlıyor”—a track released on digital platforms in recent weeks with lyrics and music by Sezen Aksu—live for the first time.

In this special piece, where the audience sang along to Kibariye's powerful vocal ornaments, Buika won the hearts of the listeners by singing in Turkish.

BACK-TO-BACK HITS

The queen of Turkish Arabesque music, Kibariye, performed unforgettable tracks such as “Sil Baştan”, “Gidemem”, “Buz”, and “Kara Kış” in the later part of the concert. Kibariye, who provided the audience with unforgettable moments through her emotional interpretation, was accompanied by Gülay Sütçü’s dance performance during her upbeat song “İki Arada Bir Derede”. Furthermore, Kibariye sent greetings to the late Yaşar Gaga, who left us prematurely, saying, "He had put so much effort into us coming together. It was meant to be today, and I'm glad it was today. You have honored us, welcome, may you have happy days and peaceful nights..." before thanking her guests in English.

'NO HABRA NADIE EN EL MUNDO' DUET ON STAGE FOR THE FIRST TIME

During the concert, Buika & Kibariye performed the track “No Habrá Nadie En El Mundo” live together for the first time, in addition to their solo performances. The two artists offered the audience an unforgettable musical feast by creating a perfect transition between Spanish and Turkish music. Drawing attention not only with the harmony of their voices but also with their energy on stage, Buika chose a yellow outfit for the entire concert, while Kibariye dazzled in a green dress.

At the end of the concert, Buika & Kibariye performed “Sevdam Ağlıyor” once more, providing unforgettable moments to thousands of people during their first concert, which lasted nearly 2 hours. Coming together for the most exciting collaboration of the year with concert series and duet projects, the queen of Turkish Arabesque music KİBARİYE will be a guest on the stage of the Grammy-winning powerhouse of Spanish music, BUIKA.
