Hundreds of thousands meet at the Orange Blossom Carnival: It is still ongoing

Carnival friends of all ages spent a wonderful weekend having fun together at events where everyone found something for themselves. The Carnival, which will end on Sunday, April 13, will host numerous sports and public events, as well as cultural and artistic activities in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's 'Turkish Culture Road Festivals', in addition to fun activities.

MAGNIFICENT PROCESSION

As is the case every year, the costumed procession, which has become the 'symbol' of the Carnival, was held with great excitement on Saturday, April 5. Countries such as Russia, Ukraine, and Japan participated in this year's procession with their colorful costumes. Thousands of costumed people gathered in the procession, which was held in the city center and on the streets of Adana, just like in its early years. The enthusiasm was further increased by people participating in the procession from the balconies of houses along the route with flags.

The special costumes, which took months to prepare, attracted great attention, and the city was practically painted orange. The most popular groups among those participating in the procession were awarded prizes. After the procession, the Simge Sağın concert thrilled tens of thousands of people.

OVER 200 EVENTS

Turkey's first and only street carnival, which brings tens of thousands of people together in Adana every year it is held, 'In April in Adana - 13th International Orange Blossom Carnival', will continue with over 200 events until Sunday, April 13.

Events to be held during the carnival will include performances by volunteer groups and rich content presented in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's 'Turkish Culture Road Festivals'. Additionally, performances by event groups from the USA, Japan, Latvia, Hungary, Russia, and Ukraine will be available to watch throughout the Carnival.

A PACKED CARNIVAL PROGRAM

As part of the 'International Orange Blossom Carnival', Turkey's first and only street carnival, which ranks among the world's leading carnivals, numerous cultural and artistic events will be organized. Popular artists will take the stage for 10 days on the stages set up in Central Park and Atatürk Park.

'Children's event areas' have also been set up, featuring colorful activities, workshops, stage shows, theaters, play areas, and many more events. For children, there are educational and fun activities such as stage performances of cartoon characters they know from the screens, fair tents, thematic play areas, and art training.

The Adana Museum and Çırçır Culture Center will be shaped by culture and art. Exhibitions specially prepared for the 'Culture Road Festival' and 'Orange Blossom Carnival' will be displayed in these historical venues. Furthermore, concerts by famous artists on the established stages will provide unforgettable moments for participants, as they do every year.

EVENTS TO BE ORGANIZED FOR CHILDREN

Throughout the entire Carnival, competitions, shows, and entertainment will be organized with the Fun Fun Dream Team. The Mother-Child Breathing Workshop with Aysel Gülşen will also be on the program during the Carnival, and the Enerjisa Children's Theater and Toroslar EDAŞ Children's Theater play "Küsmesin Yıldızlar" (May the Stars Not Be Offended) will be staged on Saturday, April 12.

PICASSO DIGITAL EXHIBITION AT THE CARNIVAL

With the Picasso and Refik Anadol Digital Exhibition, the Journey to the Roots Digital Exhibition, sculpture exhibitions by Beste Alperat and Ozan Oganer, and painting exhibitions by Cengiz Yatağan and İsmail Helvacı, everyone will find something for themselves according to their interests in a carnival full of content.

COMPETITIONS WILL BE BREATHTAKING

Throughout the coming week, the Carnival will host competitive events such as the Orange Blossom Public Run and the Orange Blossom Chess Tournament.

EVENTS WILL SPREAD ACROSS ALL OF ADANA

Many events such as Orange Blossom Camping Area Activities, Water Procession, Rengarenk Fest, Flavor Events, and Adana Souvenir Stand Areas will also be held in Adana with the participation of Carnival visitors. Everyone will be able to participate in the programs they are interested in at the flavor workshops.

ORANGE BLOSSOM CAMPING AND CARAVAN AREAS

Enthusiasts of camping, caravans, VW Beetles, motorcycles, bicycles, off-road, and nature sports will come together in special camping grounds within Central Park and Yüreğir National Park during the Carnival.
