Ghanaian Afua Asantewaa Aduonum sang for 126 hours
Ghanaian entrepreneur and former beauty queen Afua Asantewaa Aduonum has broken the Guinness World Record by singing for 126 hours and 52 minutes.

The 33-year-old entrepreneur and former beauty queen Aduonum set a new record by concluding her singing marathon, which she began on December 24, on the 5th day.
Due to the rules, Aduonum was granted a 5-minute break every hour or a 20-minute break every four hours.
'I HOPE IT SERVES AS AN INSPIRATION'
In a statement to the press, Aduonum expressed her happiness at breaking the record, saying, "I hope this serves as an inspiration to all women to step out of their comfort zones and try new opportunities. You can achieve it when you set your mind to it."
Aduonum also surpassed the record previously held by Indian singer Sunil Waghmare, who sang for 105 hours in 2012.
