According to a report in Sabah, Balcı filed the complaint after the song 'Ata Barı' was performed without authorization at a municipal event. Balcı stated, "They said, 'Sorry, we couldn't reach you. Let's organize a concert and settle this.' That made me even angrier; we are not beggars."
Balcı added, "This is theft of labor and fraud. I am constantly being exploited by the CHP."
