Gülse Birsel announces: The sequel to the film Aile Arasında is coming

The sequel to the film "Aile Arasında," which made a huge splash in Turkish cinema and became a phenomenon after reaching millions of viewers when it was released in 2017, is on its way. Gülse Birsel, who both wrote the script and starred in the film, announced that they have completed the scriptwriting process for the long-awaited sequel.

Addressing her followers on her social media account, Birsel stated, "2 Aile Arasında is on its way! For me, all the pieces have fallen into place, and we can start filming. We are excited!"

The cast of the first film, which featured Engin Günaydın and Demet Evgar in the lead roles, alongside experienced actors such as Erdal Özyağcılar, Devrim Yakut, Şevket Çoruh, and Fatih Artman, was highly appreciated by the audience.

"Aile Arasında," which received intense interest from the audience, took a humorous look at family relationships and also received full marks from film critics. The second installment of the film, which achieved great success at the box office with over 5 million viewers, is already being cited as one of the most ambitious projects of the year.
