The Hababam Sınıfı Museum has been renovated!

The museum of Hababam Sınıfı, one of the unforgettable comedic classics of Turkish cinema, is waiting for its visitors at Dokuma Park. The Hababam Sınıfı Museum has opened at the Modern Arts Gallery with its renewed look. In the museum, which was inaugurated by Kepez Deputy Mayor Selçuk Koçnebioğulları, a replica of the classroom from the Adile Sultan Pavilion in Istanbul, where Rıfat Ilgaz's immortal work Hababam Sınıfı was filmed, is presented to visitors.

The museum promises a journey filled with the film's unforgettable characters and scenes. With silicone statues of Hafize Ana, İnek Şaban, Güdük Necmi, Mahmut Hoca, and Damat Ferit, as well as details like film posters, actor portraits, desks, a blackboard, and a skeleton model, the 6A Literature classroom is brought back to life. The museum also displays the watch of Kemal Sunal, one of the film's lead actors; the iron used by the character Hafize Ana, played by Adile Naşit; and the typewriter of the film's director, Ertem Eğilmez. In addition, original items such as suitcases used in the film are also featured in the museum. Many details, from costumes used in the films—such as Badi Ekrem's red and white striped tracksuit—to Güdük Necmi's outfits, are on display. Photographs of the actors placed on the desks and film posters offer visitors a nostalgic experience.
