The Netflix series Şahmaran, starring Serenay Sarıkaya and Burak Deniz, became one of the 'most-watched local contents in the world' in the first six months of the year, with over 83 million hours of viewing.
According to the report released by Netflix, the first season of 'Şahmaran' made a name for itself in all countries where it was released simultaneously with Turkey.
In its first week of release, Şahmaran made a rapid entry into Netflix's global non-English language series list, quickly rising to second place with 33 million 960 thousand hours viewed.
It was announced that the series was watched for more than 83 million hours in the first six months of the year.
The second season of 'Şahmaran', which stars Serenay Sarıkaya and Burak Deniz, is directed by Umur Turagay, written by Pınar Bulut, and features a cast including famous names such as Mustafa Ugurlu, Mert Ramazan Demir, Mahir Günşıray, Ebru Özkan, Hakan Karahan, Nilay Erdönmez, Nil Sude Albayrak, and Berfu Halisdemir, will meet the audience in 2024.
