Composer İlkim Karaca, wife of the late Cem Karaca, has set the poem written by the world-renowned German poet Goethe for Prophet Muhammad to music in the form of a Na't.
İlkim Karaca has announced that she has composed music for the poem written by Goethe for Prophet Muhammad.
It is known that Karaca has previously composed over twenty works in the form of modern mystical hymns, with lyrics belonging to famous figures such as Yunus Emre, Rumi, Pir Sultan Abdal, Prof. Dr. Hüsrev Hatemi, and Prof. Dr. Halil Kaya.
An excerpt from the poem Goethe wrote for Prophet Muhammad:
"Sacred spirits rocked his cradle
He shouts his joy to the heavens
Above the white clouds
In the shelter of a green slope
The places he steps upon bloom
The grass turns green with his breath
Silver lights
Fill the plains
The rivers become his companions"
