Director and screenwriter Tolga Örnek, who has been living in the USA for many years, spoke about the phenomenon that is the Kaybedenler Kulübü film.
'WE WORKED HARD TO INCREASE THE TEMPO'
Örnek said, "I had said let's make a small film so we wouldn't have a blank year. But this became my most popular film. Before filming, we always asked ourselves the question, 'Will we bore the audience?' We worked very hard to increase the tempo during the editing process. I think we were successful in the end. I didn't expect it to be this well-loved before we filmed it."

Kaybedenler Kulübü is a 2010 Turkish comedy-drama film. The film, which covers the lives of Kaan Çaydamlı and Mete Avunduk, was directed by Tolga Örnek and the screenplay was written by Mehmet Ada Öztekin and Tolga Örnek.
The film, which was released in Turkey on March 25, 2011, with 137 copies, features Nejat İşler as Kaan, Yiğit Özşener as Mete, and Ahu Türkpençe as Zeynep. The film is based on the radio program titled Kaybedenler Kulübü, which aired on Kent FM between 1996 and 2001.
