'Kübra' Season 2 is coming! Here are the first images

Netflix has announced that the second season of its local series 'Kübra', which was released last month, is on the way. The release date, plot, and first images for the new season, which stars Çağatay Ulusoy, have also been shared.

On January 18, Netflix presented its new local series 'Kübra', starring Çağatay Ulusoy, to its subscribers. Adapted from Afşin Kum's novel of the same name, the 8-episode production generally received positive reviews from viewers for its intriguing subject matter. Today, there was an update that will delight fans of the series.

In its announcement today, the platform confirmed that the second season of the series, directed by the Taylan Brothers (Yağmur Taylan, Durul Taylan), is coming. Additionally, the first images from the season were shared. According to Netflix's announcement, the second season of Kübra will meet viewers in June. The series, produced by OGM Pictures, is written by Murat Uyurkulak, Rana Mamatlıoğlu, and Bekir Baran Sıtkı. Yağmur Taylan and Durul Taylan are once again in the director's chair.

Netflix uses the following words regarding the new season of the series:

“Gökhan, who sees the revelation of the truth about Kübra as another test for his faith, is now beginning his true struggle. Every decision he makes with the strength given to him by his unwavering faith, which made him 'Semavi', now has a price; amidst new dilemmas, he will have to fight not only against those he knows as enemies, but also against his loved ones and even himself. So, as Gökhan aims to find the right path while holding onto the power of his faith on the path he chose to walk as Semavi, will Kübra help him illuminate the darkness?”

In the series, which stars Çağatay Ulusoy just like in the first season, names such as Aslıhan Malbora, Ahsen Eroğlu, Nazan Kesal, Cihan Talay, Aytek Şayan, Meric Rakalar, Deniz Işın, Onur Ünsal, Mehmet Çağrı Çıtanak, and Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan will also be featured.
